Soulja Boy Keeping It Real?
Soulja Boy may or may not be having a break down. Or he may just be one of every other superstar who can't handle their fame. Remember when Kid Cudi said he was retiring a couple months ago and had a quick change of heart? Soulja Boy may be next. Check it:
Thinkin about taking all my money and leaving. F*ck having a Million followers f*ck putting out music.. why?
My music dream was THE SH*T 2 years ago before I was signed. It was everything I could ever imagine. Then I get signed. this is where my dream slowly died.. these c*****z wanna criticize a ni**a. Quincy Jones Goes In On Michael Jackson
Quincy Jones did an interview with Men Style magazine and he dug deep into Michael. I honestly can't tell if he's just being honest as a friend should be, if there's some ill-intent. You judge for yourself. And this is just a preview!
On the Strange Evolution of Michael’s appearance Oh, we talked about it all the time. But he’d come up with, “Man, I promise you I have this disease,” and so forth, and “I have a blister on my lungs,” and all that kind of b.s. It’s hard, because Michael’s a Virgo, man—he’s very set in his ways. You can’t talk him out of it. Chemical peels and all that stuff.
I don’t believe in any of that bullsh*t, No. Never. I’ve been around junkies and stuff all my life. I’ve heard every excuse. It’s like smokers—”I only smoke when I drink” and all that stuff. But it’s bullshit. You’re justifying something that’s destructive to your existence. It’s crazy. I mean, I came up with Ray Charles, man. You know, nobody gonna pull no wool over my eyes. He did heroin 20 years! Come on. And black coffee and gin for 40 years. But when he called me to come over to see him when he was in the hospital on his way out, man, he had emphysema, hepatitis C, cirrhosis of the liver, and five malignant tumors. Please, man! I’ve been around this all my life. So it’s hard for somebody to pull the wool over my eyes. But when somebody’s hell-bent on it, you can’t stop ‘em. It’s ridiculous, man! Chemical peels and all of it. And I don’t understand it. But he obviously didn’t want to be black… What do you think? You see his kids?

Is Drake Worth $4million?
There was a crazy bidding war for Drake but in the end he signed to Universal and Young Money with Lil Wayne. Drake who enjoyed the courting of various labels including Atlantic who offering a $2million signing deal rejected all the deals and wanted to wait. Lil Wayne is practically on all his signals so naturally Young Money was courting Drake also. But Drake was apprehensive about the reputation that follows Cash Money similar to Diddy and Bad Boy. But I guess money and contractual guarantees wipes that way.
Word is that Young Money doubled the Atlantic deal - $4million! I know you have heard a few of his singles, is Drake worth it?

Vibe Magazine Goes Under
It's reported that Vibe Magazine may be shutting its doors. Despite looking like it may have been one of the few black-centered magazines to stay afloat, the tough times were too much. In 2006 they were bought out by new owners and changes were made to downsize and save money...I guess it didn't work.
Who's next? Ebony, Essence? What will you miss most about Vibe - if anything?
