One thing I would say, is that Black entertainers have been so lazy the past few decades, they have been the main perpetrators of a lot of the messages out there. Instead of working at real comedy or music, most of them just pushed stereotypes. In some ways, I think this is the chickens coming to roost. Not that White people couldn't hold ill feelings without our help, it's just sad that we helped as much as we did in the name of 'entertainment'.

I have no problem having an intelligent or instructive conversation on race, even if Black women get called out, but what she & that dude did was neither. It was just gross and meant to be hurtful and harsh. Moreover, it was INCREDIBLY lacking in awareness, because you can't have that conversation without understand a lot of the integral issues in American race & how it has impacted how minorities view themselves, as well as how it has impacted gender roles.
