I've always wondered how come it's only black women who refer to themseleves as "strong women". White, latin, Asian or Middle Eastern women don't refer to themselves as "strong" women yet they have the highest marriage rates in the world.

What is strong is powerfully resistant. What is powerful is dominant. What is dominant is masculine.

When black women refer to themselves as "strong black women" what they are saying is..."I am a powerful, dominant, masculine black woman who is able to resist you."

Hmmm, interesting. 70% of black women in the U.S. are not married. Be they successful or not. I wonder why.

The only 2 black actors white Hollywood will let star in a big budget blockbuster are Will Smith and Denzel, everyon else gets the shaft.

yeah tyler that dude, but he need more support from people of his caliber. hughs brothers, will smith, denzel washington, morgan freeman, samuel jackson & laurence fishburne been had blockbusters back when tyler was homeless. theme cats ain't did nuthin' in all that time. Tyler Perry stepped out on faith and got his own production company started. With all the people talking mess about his work, at least he had the balls to go for what he wanted instead of waiting for the white folks in Hollyweird to accept him.
These black actresses are all beautiful and a breath of fresh air to see them all together, however they DO have the means to get something started. It seems like all they're doing is waiting for some black director to magically 'come on the scene' and instantly give them work.
