She can't give a solid reason why Aaliyah was great. Aaliyah was NOT a great artist. John Coltrane was a great artist, Charlie Parker was great because they were decades if not centuries ahead of their time. Not Aaliyah.

missy hit it on the head Aaliyah was different and a trend setter. she changed the game and brought a new look and style to the industry. i'm not her biggest fan i admit but she made good music and indeed left a mark in history.
