One thing I left out earlier is that, no one is asking a woman to be weak. I actually think it is a good idea for a black woman to be strong and supportive but a woman has to know how to submit to her husband (her man) and the man has to know how to treat his wife (his woman) very well. These are important responsibilities and if both parties are not full filing these responsibilities well, nothing works. Society does not function well without rules and laws. There will be chaos that's why we have laws. It is the same here. When these responsibilities are thrown out, we CRASH and nothing works.

You can't have 2 captains on a ship with each given orders on how to control the ship. There will be conflicting orders and the ship will crash.

A woman should be strong and supportive but know her place, she doesn't wear the pants. The man does. Men, don't take the women for granted, treat them like the ladies they are. Treat them very well and cherish them. After all, a woman gave birth to you. Men don't know have it feels to carry a baby for 9 months. If only men could imagine how it feels, how painful it is to give birth to a boy, and be disrespected by a boy.

Because of the way the Western world is, Men and Women are constantly competing against each other at work, school, the society and in relationships. Women feel that they should have equal rights, opportunities and say as Men. Well, yes but women have to know when and where the equality applies. Women have to know when to pick their battles. The equality doesn't mean that it is now the women's turn to give orders or go back and forth with the man. It is kind of contradicting in a sense but there is a differentiation. The Men have to learn how to share with the Women, listen to the Women's opinion, take their advice and be patient with them.

There is a Ghanaian (West African) proverb which says that the left hand washes the right and the right hand washes the left. It is all about working together, coordination. Otherwise, nothing works. Opposites attract but there have to be equal measures in order to achieve equilibrium. Otherwise, CRASH ! ! ! !
