Vibe Magazine To Re-Launch With Drake and Chris Brown on The Cover
Vibe Magazine is trying to stage a late fourth quarter come back in December 2009. To pull this off, they are planning to use Drake's buzz and Chris Brown's controversy to create hype around the re-launch. According to reports, both Chris Brown and Drake are slated to grace the covers of Vibe magazine's return issue in December. The return issue will feature two separate covers, one with Chris Brown and the other with rapper Drake.
The once-leading R&B/hip-hop monthly magazine will only see a four-issue roll-out in 2010. According to MTV News, "The Vibe appearance will represent the first major magazine cover Brown has landed since his guilty plea to felony assault in connection with the Rihanna case, and though no excerpts of the interview were available at press time, it's
likely that the singer will once again face questions about the incident. "
