Why Allen Iverson Not Returning To the Philadelphia 76ers This Season?

According to reports, Allen Iverson will not return to the Philadelphia 76ers this seas. Allen Iverson was not released by the 76ers, the organization said in a statement.

“After discussing the situation with Allen, we have come to the conclusion that he will not return to the Sixers for the remainder of the season, as he no longer wishes to be a distraction to the organization and teammates that he loves very deeply,” said Ed Stefanski, the 76ers’ general manager. “It has been very difficult for Allen and the team to maintain any consistency as he tries to balance his career with his personal life.”

Allen Iverson too a leave from the 76ers to on February 22nd to focus on his 4-year-old daughter's illness. Our prayers are with Allen Iverson and his family.
