Tim Urban Kicked To The Curb By American Idol Fans
Singer Tim Urban is the latest victim of the American Idol voting public.
After two hours of fundraising pleas, viewers bid a final farewell to Tim Urban on Wednesday night's "Idol Gives Back" episode of "American Idol."
Urban, the ever-smiling 20-year-old from Duncanville, Texas, failed to impress the judges or the voters with his pitchy rendition of "Better Days" by The Goo Goo Dolls on Monday night's inspirational episode.
Judge Simon Cowell called it "a little bit of a let down," while Ellen DeGeneres compared Urban to soup du jour, "sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't."
Urban was joined with Aaron Kelly and Casey James in one of the seasons few all-male bottom three.
Prior to learning Urban's fate, the viewers were showered with a sporadic list of scheduled celebrity appearances and musical performances.
