Tiger Woods Press Conference 'I Am Sorry For My Selfish Behavior' - Do We Believe Him?
Tiger Woods made his first public appearance in 84 days on television a few minutes ago. In the press conference - which is actually a misnomer because he uninvited all press and only spoke to friends and family - Tiger spoke on a wide range of subjects including the rumors of steroid use, alleged domestic abuse on Thanksgiving and the paparazzi harassing his children and publishing their whereabouts.
Tiger gave us what appeared to be a previously outlined statement from his abundant PR team, and when he was done, pleading for people to "believe in me again." His first message was that of sorrow, but the most heated Tiger was the entire 13 minutes was when talking of the rumors that Elin had chased and/or hit Woods with a golf club.
"There is one issue I really want to discuss. Some people have speculated that Elin somehow hurt or attacked me on Thanksgiving night. It angers me that people would fabricate a story like that. Elin never hit me that night or any other night. There has never been an episode of domestic violence in our marriage. Ever."
