Steve Nash Leads Phoenix Suns To Victory With Eye Swollen Shut - "I Couldn't See Anything."
 Steve Nash led the Phoenix Suns, with one eye,
as they swept the San Antonio Spurs in the second round oh the NBA playoffs. He
was inadvertently elbowed in the eye, by Tim Duncan, in the third quarter. He
walked to the locker room with team trainers only to return shortly afterward
with six stitches and his right eye rapidly swelling shut under an icepack. He
scored 10 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and finished with 9 assists,
leading the Suns in a 4-0 sweep oh San
Antonio. The Suns will advance to the Western
Conference Finals and play the winner of the series between the Las Angeles
Lakers and the Utah Jazz.
