Sean Penn Keeps It Too Real For The Cannes Film Festival
Actor Sean Penn isn't one of those guys who flies down to disaster areas simply for the benefit of good press and then leaves as soon as the media leaves. Quite the opposite is true. According to sources, Sean Penn is ditching the Cannes Film Festival in order to testify at a U.S. Senate committee about the problems in Haiti. Sean Penn is slated to give evidence to a Senate committee in Washington, D.C. later this week to detail the devastation going on in Haiti - leaving him unable to make Cannes Film Festival despite the fact that he has a new movie coming up that he could be doing promo for. Kudos to Sean Penn For Keeping It Real!
