Nicki Minaj Denies Being Gay Or Bisexual
Nicki Minaj may have disappointed hordes of LGSB fans when she dropped a
bomb in her interview with Rolling Stone. Nicki addressed an issue that
seems to pop up rather often in her music. Despite public speculation
and Nicki's own comments, and her simulated kiss of another woman in
Usher’s “Lil Freak” video, Nicki says she is neither bisexual or a
lesbian.
“I think girls are sexy, but I’m not gonna lie and say I date girls.”
Nicki also explained how her childhood problems motivated her to strive for a better life through entertainment:
“When I first came to America, I would go in my room and kneel down at
the foot of my bed and pray that God would make me rich so I could take
care of my mother,” Nicki said. “Because I always felt like if I took
care of my mother, my mother wouldn’t have to stay with my father, and
he was the one, at that time, that was bringing us pain.”
