Michele Obama is such a graceful lady as is her husband a graceful gentleman. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Obama for restoring gracefulness to the whitehouse and to our country. America loves you for all you have done. President Obama has done more for America in one year than most Presidents do in 8 years.

personally, I love the both of them. I feel President Obama is doing a great job, he has to pick up the mess that Bush left and try to get this country back on its feet. Every new president has a challenge and he has a very hard one during his appt in the white house. If people don't like him why did they vote for him. Always after the fact do they find the negative, I say, good job Obama, keep up the good work, and God will watch over you for doing the right thing.

Not lovin' the turquoise and red outfit altho I recently heard turquoise in the in color. Not loving Mario's clogs and socks either though. Other than that, I think it's a fun show. Angie - you're dumb or naive. The economy and job situation has been in downward spiral for years now. Like one year in office is going to turn things around. I don't think first ladies usually have to buy much of their wardrobe. DimeWars guest - Why do you have to be racist and rude. No, we are not all assholes. Assholes is one word btw. Another DimeWars guest - Interesting you tell another poster not to speak for the rest of America, yet you think you do. Well, you're the one who's wrong.

Im really sick of the argument it's all Bush's fault. Is every liberal going to be saying that until 2012, at least after 9/11 Bush kicked A** and took names against terrorism, unlike Obama and the Democratic Congress and Senate. You can't be a hippy liberal and fight terrorists, in not in there make-up to fight. Unemployement, the economy, the environment...none will matter if America drops the ball on fighting terrorists and protecting our country. There won't be a country left to protect.

Poor Mrs. Obama for being a part of Food Network's Super Chef Battle. WHAT A MAJOR LETDOWN! Don't get me wrong, the competitors were AWESOME(Flay, Comerford, Batali, and Legassi were absolutely amazing) but I feel bad they were drawn into such a letdown, along w/Mrs. Obama). If Food Network felt the First Lady was so important, why did they leave this show open to so many mis-steps: An actress and an Olympian to judge a supposed "super" battle???? One would expect actual FOOD CRITICS for using White House garden fare...The show was "so important" that even the chairman was NOT PRESENT for this show... Michelle Obama was billed as the special guest but in reality she was a mere 20 second video clip. Shame on Food Network for making the viewers THINK this show was going to be a spectacular event with the presence of such an important woman---when in reality it was a letdown of monumental proprotions.

I agree. The show was a major letdown. I found myself channel surfing (something I never do) between this and Desperate Housewives. While the competitors are great, the overall production lacked the usual enthusiasm. Since they are so qualified, I too expected the judges to possess higher credentials.

I like Foodnetwork as much as the next person, but I'm starting to wonder if Mrs. Obama has any other interests. Liked her explainaion about the garden. Wonder if it's a appropriate place on the White House grounds though. She needs to FIRE her stylist! That was a horrible dress!!! Liked her shoes though!! And as for "SECURITY"; Is the recent airport security situation following along the lines of the Presidential security?? The party crashers should be jailed. No joke. And those on the Presidential security force need time off and reassignment!!!

Lets face it, during the history of the U.S. presidential form of government, I doubt there is ONE president that someone has not criticized for one reason or another. Jeez guys, I think the Obama's are a blessing. We could have ended up with Ole Hilary! Bad enough she ended up with a high political post. I swear if I'd seen her cry on national TV once more I would have hurled! PMS, menopause or just a temper tantrum trying to get folks to pass the tissues? Mrs O.? You got great "gams" woman!

I love to watch Iron Chef America!I really enjoy the one on Jan 3,with the White House Chef.. I din not however enjoy the judges !! As much as i like Jane Seymore,i don't understand why she would be a judge,as she has had not culinery schooling.. Also that twit Natilie Coughlin, what a nose bleed ! I know she has had no experience, she probally does not know a rue from a salad dressing!!! There are plenty of chefs, culinary students, food critics, that you people could choose from. I think last night they picked Flay and team because she worked for the White House !
Please get some decent judges !!

HOWEVER I THINK FLAY AND TEAM ONLY WON BECAUSE SHE WORKS FOR THE WHITE HOUSE! MY ONE COMPLAINT,,GET SOME DECENT JUDGES !! GIVE ME A BREAK NATILIE WHATS HER NAME? JANE SEYMORE ? I AM SURE THERE ARE PLENTY OF CHEFS, CULINARY STUDENTS, FOOD CRITICS ,EVEN A OWNER OF A DINER WOULD KNOW MORE THAN THEY DID! SO NATILIE HAS A RADISH BURNED !!! SHE PROBALLY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS TO START WITH! I WANT JUDGES TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT! I DO NOT WANT TO SEE FOOTBALL PLAYERS,MOVIE STARS ETC! DISCUSSED IN PHOENIX

Well Michelle at least buttoned the sweater correctly but gosh who dresses that clown? She is way to old to try to dress like an elementary schoolgirl. On the good side...It was cool to see the White House garden and these TOP chefs doing a tremendous job. The judges for this show were a joke. Why not food critics instead of an over the hill actress who thinks she is still 30 & rather catty..and I don't even recognize the other 2...apparently they were very hungry though. I believe Lagasse & Batali team should have won as these 2 really know their food & their preps & presentations were obviously better. But of course the White house team had to win...right? LOL
