Michael Jackson to Beatles: You Can Have Your Songs Back Over My Dead Body!
In an attempt to play nice and right the wrongs of his past before it all comes to a crashing end, Michael Jackson has decided to end the long feud with former Beatles member, Paul McCartney. If you remember – you probably don’t – Jackson beat out McCartney to gain the rights to 200 of the Beatles songs back in ’85. Some may call it shrewd business others may call it shady business – either way – Jackson has been collecting money every time any of those 200 songs are played.
McCartney expressed his frustration saying, "You know what doesn't feel very good, is going on tour and paying to sing all my songs. Every time I sing Hey Jude. I've got to pay someone". – Cry me a river!
But Michael isn’t doing good to fend off the rumors by biographer Ian
Halperin who claims that Jackson is battling emphysema, lose of vision
in his left eye and a host of other illnesses by now choosing to turn
over the songs back to the Beatles in his will.
I say turn it over to your children or the other non-working members of
Jackson 5. Those 200 songs will continue to make money well into the
future. McCartney is a multi-millionaire – he will be fine!

The true story is McCartney was offered to buy back the songs before Michael even tried to buy them for twenty million. But Paul didn't feel he should own them on his own seeing that John & he wrote some of the songs together.So he rang John wife up for her to buy the songs to together. She asked how much were they asking she wanted to bargain the price to less than half. The owner at the time said no thanks.So they just left it. So if Mr Sir McCartney wanted them so bad why didn't buy them himself. Than Michael came in to the picture it took him seven months of offers going back & forward till Michael paid I think 47 million.
Most of this came from an interview that I seen on the net with Paul Mccartney so he is upset that was so silly at the time that the chance to buy back the songs for a good price and choose not to.

the real issue is,it's all about the royalties of the songs,that's all the reason why paul made those issues about MJ bought beatles catalogue. mcCartney wanted Mj to high his royalties for the songs he wrote,and he wanted to control MJ on how to manage/handle the songs!it's a lot of pressures on part of MJ!and a lot of people in music corp or music industry wanted a piece of that catalogue!i don't understand why paul have issues bout MJ owning that risky catalogue,MJ outbid them,he bought and paid that damn

media made MJ as creepy because he bought the beatles songs,as if MJ don't have the right to buy it!some media even wrote in their article that MJ stole beatles songs?!isn't cruel and hurtful to say that?! that how media treated MJ!
