Manny Pacquiao In Minor Car Accident Before The Big Fight
Manny Pacquiao car accident - Manny Pacquiao was involved in a minor vehicle accident on Saturday but his management team said he was not injured and set for his WBO welterweight title defense against Shane Mosley later in the day.
"Sources close to Pacquiao tell TMZ Manny Pacquiao was traveling in a fleet of cars after church today, when one of Manny's security vehicles collided with the car carrying Manny." Pacquiao is back at his hotel now, where his trainer, Freddie Roach, checked him out. The WBO welterweight champion is just a little shaken up but is battle Shane Mosley is still a go for tonight.
Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world champion, the
first boxer in history to win ten world titles, the first to win in
eight weight divisions, and the first to win the lineal championship in
four different weight classes. He was named "Fighter of the Decade" for
the 2000's by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA). He is
also a three-time The Ring and BWAA "Fighter of the Year", winning the
award in 2006, 2008, and 2009.
Manny Pacquiao is defending his WBO welterweight championship against
"Sugar" Shane Mosley tonight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas
(9 p.m. ET, Showtime).
