Las Angeles Lakers Face Elimination After Celtics Victory
 The Las Angeles Lakers are on the verge of elimination after the Boston Celtics held off the Lakers 4th quarter charge to win 92-86. The Boston Celtics played together against a Laker squad that couldn't seem to offer Kobe Bryant any support in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
At one point in the game Kobe Bryant had scored half of the Lakers points, scoring 29 of their 58. Kobe finished with 38 points, a team-leading 4 assists, and the only Lakers block of the game. Lamar Odom scored 8 pooints and grabbed 8 rebounds, Pau Gasol had 12 points and 7 rebounds, and Derek Fisher has only scored 15 points after scoring 11 points in the 4th quarter of Game 3. Kobe was on his game but when he needed help , his supporting cast let him down. The Celtics are up 3-2 as the series goes back to L.A. for the last two games of the NBA season.
