Kanye West Running From His Inner-Demons in 'Coldest Winter' Video Visualizes Him
"Coldest Winter" is the darkest track from Kanye West's 808s and Heartbreak, and the accompanying music video is equally bleak. It's a cross between the intro to "Baywatch" (it stars a woman with a large chest running in slow motion) and Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow (ancient wood vibe, purple color palette, ghostly dudes in cloaks). The video is playing an unreleased remixed version of the song, but Kanye does not make an appearance in it. One blogger notes:
The video is a bit depressing. A girl dressed in white running from her demons. While other conspiracy-happy zealots say: The video is extremely dark, we know some people are going to yell “ILLUMINATI”
