Jesse James Says Being Called A Racist Is Worse Than Losing His Wife
Sandra Bullock's soon-to-be ex-husband, Jesse James, finally went public about his extramarital affairs on ABC in a no-holds-barred interview that peeked deeply into his private life. Jesse James openly admitted his affairs, said he was embarrassed about it going public and even described what steps he took to go get help at a sex rehab clinic. Then, the interview treaded in racial waters. Two weeks after Jesse James locked himself up in a rehab clinic, US weekly published pictures of Jesse James in a Nazi hat doing a Hitler hail with his former girlfriend. According to Jesse James, being called a racist was the worse thing about this entire ordeal:
"I think that's why I'm doing this interview the most, because dealing with losing my marriage and my son and embarrassing everyone and decimating my life, but to be called a racist on top of that... it makes me really sad, like the way I look... "I could tell by the look on my face it was a joke that was funny then, probably for a minute, but then looking at it in the context of now and in my life, it's not funny."
When asked why they adopted a black child, James said he "didn't care what color" the baby was.
"My only prerequisite for adopting a baby: I want the baby that needs us the most," he said.
While we can't necessarily take Jesse James at his word, it is very unlikely that a racist would adopt a black child - in particular a black male child. You guys remember Diff'rent Strokes!!!
