Jay-Z & Derek Jeter Won't Recruit LeBron James To NYC
 Jay-Z and Derek Jeter both say they don't want to participate in recruiting LeBron James to play basketball for the city of New York. LeBron has made headlines before his season ended and continues to consistently make headlines as speculation over his free agency grows day by day.
LeBron James won't become a free agent until July 1st but everyone including Mayor Michael Bloomberg, well...except for a couple of guys. Derek Jeter voiced his concern over the matter in an interview saying he didn't understand what sense it made for him, as a baseball player for the New York Yankees, to help recruit a basketball player to NYC. Jay-Z, close friend of LeBron and part-owner of the New Jersey Nets, has come out and said that he won't help recruit the NBA regular season MVP to the New York Knicks or the New Jersey Nets. “That’s his decision,” Jay-Z, a part owner of the Nets, told Rolling Stone, according to the Daily News. ”We’re friends - we’ve still gotta hang out! I don’t want to convince somebody to do something, then have to see him and say, ‘Uh, yeah, we’re 4-30 …sorry.”
