Jamie Foxx Reflects On American Politics
 Jamie Foxx - Academy award winning actor Jamie Foxx is embarking on a new venture launching his own production company called, No Brainer.
“I started a company called No Brainer about six months ago,” he explained.
“Already we’ve sold about two or three shows. We don’t wait for the movie or the television to open up for us, we just shoot so we can have content. Everything is going to eventually end up on your cell phone.”
Jamie Foxx also reflected on the societal woes of American politics
“It’s weird. In politics when you are nice, and you do want to do great things, they persecute you more,” he said.
“And when you are shady, and shifty, and steal, and show the worst of what politics could be — we give them a parade.
“I think people have to understand we live in a society that’s capitalistic. But we also have to be compassionate.
“Even when you look at health care, it’s like: How can a country this
great not have health care? How can a country this great not have a
great education system? … Yet we’re No. 1 in greed. We’re No. 1 in
steal-as-much-as-you-can.
“I think what we gotta get away from is, making the person who is the common man feel bad about himself. … Everyone matters."

Good post Jamie. We need Americans to get smarter not dumber, if we are going to compete with China and India. 2 Billion people who believe in EDUCATING their young in MATH & SCIENCE. I have to say that the whole pay scale and thw worship od celebrity be it sports or the Arts is way out of wack/proportion. So when you say that when you drive your vehicle Rolls Mercedes?? thru a tough poor neighborhood it is a bit condescending to just say you feel for them without look at the structure of PAY or makin money in the USA. Most Athletes , celebrities, CEO's are way overpaid for what they do. The whole structure must be chnged if we are ever to have a just society!

Jamie is right.This country is spending billions of dollars for bribing other countries in order to control them ,(Pakistan Afganistan),there is no number how much it costs the tax payer,the politician are the worst.It is time to keep the money here,and build and help those who pay the tax.

I do agree with jamie, what this country needs most is a repaired standard back to God, Not talking about this paganistic form or religions we embrace. A true commentment to doing what is right for mankind. We all came from the same place regardless of what you have, or have not. celebrate success and help those who did not make it. If you understand how Jamie Foxx came from little to nothing in a town called Terrell, TX - raised by his grandmother, and being a little Black boy in SUPER-RACIST Texas (y'know, the place where they dragged James Byrd in 1998 AND Brandon McClelland in 2008 to death for being Black - 1hr and 47 minutes away in Paris, TX both just East of Dallas, TX) at a time when civil rights was being fought against...
You'd understand how he, being a hardworking person and receiving the fruits of his labor, seeing others who work hard as well believes that everyone should receive the full fruits of their labor!
It's basic "justice for all." You all know the pledge of Allegiance right? "...one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
His sentiment isn't strange, IT'S BEEN DRILLED INTO US SINCE WE COULD FIRST RECITE THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE!
It is bound to happen, or we are all hypocrites.

@michael mars wilson: I don't think Jamie's comment came across as condescending at all. I believe he truly does sympathize with those he encounters there. He was there once remember? Now the thing about the pay scales being "out-of-wack", entertainers, CEOs and athletes are not paid primarily by the general populace. Their pay is based on what their worth is in each perspective field. CEOs manage multi-million dollar operations, if they don't own them. Athletes and entertainers are paid primarily by record and movie execs, again based on their projected box office draws and media sales. It's a case of simple economics. It's not all about criminal activity, although a healthy portion of it is.
