JENNIFER LOPEZ STILL IN THE RUNNING TO BE AN AMERICAN IDOL JUDGE
Jennifer Lopez may not be completely ruled out as an American Idol judge just yet. Earlier this week, rumors circulated that Jennifer Lopez was reportedly ruled out as the permanent replacement to Ellen Degeneres on Fox's American Idol. People.com, reported that "Her (diva like) demands got out of hand," and, "Fox had just had enough."
However, in a recent interview, American Idol producer, Nigel Lythgoe has denied those rumors. Speaking in defense of Jennifer Lopez, Lythgoe told Extra:
“Hello? These people don’t know Jennifer Lopez,” Lythgoe told “Extra’s” Terri Seymour at the finale of Lythgoe’s other show, “So You Think You Can Dance.” “She’s a wonderful woman,” he said. “I’ve never seen her be a diva in her life!”
We are not sure if Jennifer Lopez got the gig, but it does appear that she might still be on the short list of candidates.
