Is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Trying To Supplement His Pension With Law Suits?

Kareem Abdul Jabbar has added another lawsuit to the list of litigation filings the NBA Hall of Famer has filed since ending his NBA basketball career. This time the Upper Deck Company is at the other end of Jabbar's legal hand-check. The old school baller Kareem Abdul Jabbar is shooting for over 1 million in damages from the company. More Details are on the other side.
According to TMZ:
In a lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ ... Kareem claims The Upper Deck Company plastered 6 Kareem pics from his days as a UCLA Bruin on its "Greats of the Game" series.
Abdul Jabaar is no stranger to court battles in an actual courthouse. Earlier this year he sued a movie producer for $1 million for failing to deliver on time, a movie about the basketball players life. He also sued in 1997, a fellow Muslim athlete, Sharmon Shah, who played in the NFL and also changed his name to Kareem Abdul Jabbar after converting to Islam. The NBA's Jabbar was known as Lew Alcindor before converting to Islam. He wanted the younger Jabbar to stop using his name.
