Eddie Long Leaves Church To Deal With Divorce
 UPDATE-Bishop Eddie Long announced his decision to take a sabbatical from preaching at his mega church New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. The announcement comes day after his wife of over 20 years Vanessa Long filed for divorce. Long who settled with four young men who accused him of sexual misconduct said he will spend the time to focus on his family. During his last service on Sunday Long told his congregation:
"I'm going to take a little time off to work with my family."
"I do want you to know that this is, for me and my family, especially with me, one of the most difficult times and things I've had to face, and only because my strength, other than God, is in Miss Vanessa," Long said to much applause.
"And I want you to rest assured that I love her and she loves me. ...We're going (to) work it out."
