Drake Finally Cleared By Authorities To Visit Lil Wayne In Prison - Update
Rapper Drake of Young Money Entertainment, was recently cleared by prison authorities to visit his label mate, and CEO, Lil Wayne in New York's Rikers Island Correctional Facility. Drake was so hyped about the ordeal that he did what any other attention-hungry celebrity would do - immediately told all his fans via his Twitter account:
"FINALLY got some time for a visit [tomorrow] to go see my brother," he wrote. "So if you got [messages] that need to be delivered write #TellWayne."
This is the second time that Rikers Island is seeing high-profile visitors check up on their most famous inmate. Last month, Diddy jumped on that long bus to prison to see Lil Wayne and sat with him for an hour (insert conjugal visit joke here).
"Wayne is a trooper," Diddy said of the visit. "Wayne is doing great. It was a personal visit, so I don't want to get into the details of that. We're just counting down the days of him getting out. He's somebody that has been there for me over the years numerous times."
Hey Drake, you know you're on your way to super-stardom when you're visiting your celebrity friends in prison. Your life rocks!
