Christina Aguilera's Abusive Past Exposed Right Before Her Album Comes Out - Another Bummer!
Pop star, Christina Aguilera, is having a horrible time returning to the limelight with the release of her latest album 'Bionic'. First the comparisons with Lady Gaga almost set off an East Coast v. West Coast Beef, then she was forced to cancel her summer tour so that she could catch up on rehearsals. And now that Christina Aguilera is back in the swing of things - VH1 is going to expose her past on a 'Behind The Music' special. The special starts off with Christina Aguilera's abusive father:
"I decided to step in between and said 'don't hurt my mommy.' He then threw me across the room because I had stood up for my mom," she shares. "He was getting more physical with me, the older I got, and my mom said enough was enough."
And then in school, Christina Aguilera reports, she wasn't one of the popular girls because of her success. Instead, she was the victim of pure jealousy - including students slashing her tires everytime she won another competition.
So, when Christina Aguilera finally did get put on, with a huge record label deal, she rebelled against the label's advice with all her might:
"I wanted to make a statement, and a bold one, and what better way to do it than to wear a**-less chaps when you're 21 years old?"
Good point, Christina Aguilera. Those chaps will do it.
