Chris Brown, Good Morning America And The Gay Rights Groups
Next to PETA, Chris Brown is heading into a potential battle with the next most influential group in America, the gay rights groups. In case you missed the American Music Awards that aired last week there was a certain surprise event that took place with an artist name Adam Lambert who performed a few lewd acts on stage including tongue kissing a male member of his band!
Next he was booted from a Good Morning America (GMA) appearance because according to GMA he's proven to be "unpredictable while on live tv". Sounds reasonably right, while the gay rights groups are not buying it! They find it more than a bit prejudice that GMA finds it OK to book a "Rihanna beater" over a gay artist. But according to GMA Chris' interview was taped prior to cancelling Lambert and it was to provide a platform for Chris Brown to respond to Rihanna's 20/20 interview. Or in business terms time for GMA to get a bite of Rihanna's record breaking ratings.
So who will win this battle?! If history has anything to say here Chris Brown and GMA may loose and there will be one group standing.

First of all, Adam did not tongue kiss, you just added that in to add drama. And yes, I think ABC is wrong to advocate violence. To say Chris is just there to talk about the Rhianna incident, which by the way he said that he wished she had kept it to herself, is pure crap. He is there to promote his new album only, otherwise why is he performing on the show? I really hate the double-standards in this country.

The media abuse of this story with the overinflated headlines and use of the most salacious descriptions for Adam's performance is frightening. There is a definite double standard, because as Adam has said female performers have been doing this stuff all the time without this kind of uproar. ABC's excuses for dropping Adam's performance and CBS's excuse for the blurring of the kiss picture were very, very weak. It will be interesting to see what happens with Adam being on "@#$%! CLARK'S NEW YEAR'S ROCKIN' EVE WITH RYAN SEACREST 2009" will they cancel him from that too? Hopefully not, because I love his performances.

| Domestic Violence Says: |
|
This is the hypocritical thing here: GMA dropped Lambert to avoid controversy, but in doing so chose a dude who beat the daylights out of a girl and left her bloody and bruised. They chose domestic violence over a gay kiss. I don't care why you think you're going to heaven over the next person, but I don't think God prioritizes beating women to a bloody pulp over a gay kiss. As for Good Morning America, it's clear that they do. They pulled Lambert over a moral issue and replaced him with a moral DISASTER. Think about it, do you want your sons or daughters to think it's better to beat someone like Chris did to Rihanna? No. Do you want to be reminded of that to distract you from a gay kiss that happened a week ago. No. Now ask yourself, why they hell would they want to do that? What is wrong with these people? Lambert is not only being punished but he's being turned into an example at the expensive of women in abusive relationships. This is a bad call all around.

I emailed GMA and told them that I will NEVER watch them again. I have been an AVID viewer of their program, but (not after they canceled Adam) when they booked Chris Brown... I'm sorry. I will not allow anyone to tell me - being gay is WORSE than a straight man beating the CRAP out of his girlfriend. NOPE... NOT GONNA HAPPEN. GMA is 6 feet under - in my eyes. GOOD RIDDINS!
