Brett Favre Remains Vikings' starting QB After Brad Childress Firing
Brett Farve will remain the starting QB for the Minnesota Vikings, according to the new head coach, Leslie Frazier. Leslie Frazier relieved Brad Childress after Childress was dismised earlier in the day following a 3-7 start. Leslie Frazier did not waver when speaking on Brett Favre as the team's QB.
"There's no hesitation for me in that regard. Brett Favre will be our starting quarterback on Sunday."
Favre, 41, has started 295 consecutive regular-season games dating back to 1992, and said after Sunday's loss to Green Bay that he needed to "re-evaluate. However; Frazier dismissed speculation that the Vikings migh seek alternatives to Favre since their playoff hopes have faded away.
