Christina Aguilera Renews Career With The Voice
 Christina Aguilera - -Update- Pop star Christina Aguilera was a hit on the premiere of NBC's "The Voice". Touted as the "mother hen", Christina is comfortable on her Star Trek like chair with the men, Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green and Blake Shelton.
*Previously reported* Christina Aguilera is making a strong effort to promote the show by making all the usual stops like Jay Leno and Ellen. During her sit downs Christina touched on her recent hiccups in the media she joked to Jay Leno, "I never make mistakes. I never forget lyrics. I never trip up onstage. I do nothing wrong!"
Christina continued with the light humor telling Ellen,
“I was like, I just made myself a Trivial Pursuit question. ‘In 2011, what female singer flubbed the lyrics….’”
“The way that Mark sold me on doing the show is not only the concept,
but the fact that this isn't about tearing people down, making fun of
them or picking them apart in a negative way,” said Aguilera. Added
Cee-Lo: “There's a great humility about mentoring, coaching, and
teaching. You'll get to see a softer, sensitive, more real side of
things because they are the stars. And you get an opportunity to see us
being fans as well.”
Christina states further, “At the end of the day, that's what The Voice is really about -- emotion and touching people.”
NBC will repeat "The Voice" again tonight (4.27) at 9pm. Will you watch Christina Aguilera on "The Voice"?
