Ed Lover: Since Breezy is your man, why do you think he is being so protective of [Rihanna] when it doesn’t seem to be reciprocated on the other side? I think it’s because I know he understands what happened. That’s one thing that he told me “As a man, the situation that happened shouldn’t have happened so I’m not going to make excuses for it. I’m going to take responsibility and whatever it is, is whatever it is. Because I feel the way you feel.
Ed Lover: You told him “Tell Everbody your side of the story”? Yea and he was like “Nah, I’m a man, I made that mistake and I’ll take that with stride”…and I respect that.

Janet Jackson is back on her grind; she’ll be opening the American Music Awards with an 8 minute performance. ABC has confirmed that Janet Jackson will be the opening act for this year’s American Music Awards. The awards show will air live from the Nokia Theatre in LA on November 22 at 8:00 PM. We hope Janet still has it; eight minutes of full dancing and singing with the pressure of a comeback is no joke. We wish her well. Janet will also sit down for her first public interview with ABC next Wednesday, November 18th.

During last night's NBA on TNT, former NBA player Charles Barkley sat as a makeup artist applied white cosmetics to his face. Kenny Smith then shouted to Barkley, "Say it loud!" Charles Barkley responded, "I'm black and I'm proud." Charles Barkley then took over the deep end and posed an silly question to Smith, "If I become white, am I allowed to eat chicken and hamhocks?"
