John Legend Defends His Fiance Chrissy Teigen
John Legend has jumped into the drama to defend his fiance Chrissy Teigen against death threats from Team Breezy and slights from their leader Chris Brown. John said this in defense of Chrissy,
"Personally, I don't think @chrissyteigen's existence is pointless. Nor anyone else who dares criticize a performance."
"Every artist has to be ok with the fact that some people won't like their work. All critics aren't 'haters,'" he continued, aiming that last bit at Brown.
"And don't ever tell me to put my 'bitch on a leash'. She's a grown woman with her own mind and her own opinions and this is not 1950."
In case you missed it, Chris Brown tweeted this to his fans after they sent numerous threats to Chrissy,
"Team Breezy! Lets stop sending death threats! I know y'all bout that life but it's the wrong message! Ur turning haters into victims!"
He added, "And that only furthers their pointless existence!"
Guess there won't be a Chris Brown/John Legend collaboration in the future...

Usher Breaks Down During Custody Battle
 Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster made harsh allegations in an Atlanta courtroom yesterday, sending her ex-husband into tears.
During questioning Foster’s lawyer displayed photos of Usher partying in Europe, insinuating the superstar cares more about his nightlife than being a father. Usher Raymond broke down after being questioned for hours.
As he fought for more custody of his two young boys, Foster went on to accuse the R&B sensation of participating in illegal drug use. The singer admitted to smoking marijuana in the past, but his lawyer objected to his alleged use of ecstasy. Usher continued, saying that he never used drugs in front of his children—an allegation Foster made earlier in the legal battle.
The ongoing custody trial continues today.

Chris Brown Calms Down Fans Over Chrissy Teigen Death Threats
 Chris Brown had to put his foot down when his fans got out of hand on Twitter by sending death threats to John Legend's fiance Chrissy Teigen. Chrissy decided to voice her two cents over Chris lip synching through his Billboard Music Awards performance and got slammed for it.
"all you do is talk s**t, you need to be raped and murdered."
"killyoself bitch ur nothing but tall thatswhy you model. your nothing."
"ditzy dumb ass tramp your mother should've aborted you."
That's only a sample of the tweets sent to Chrissy.
"You guys are too young for this s---. Too f------ young. How you can even form these sentences at someone you don't know makes me so sad. Don't throw around the term h-, c---, s---. You're women. WE ARE WOMEN. and don't ever think a man can f------ control you. Seriously. this isn't your f------ job. Stop being psychotic," tweeted by Chrissy.
Chris Brown eventually sent out his tweet,
"Team Breezy! Lets stop sending death threats! I know y'all bout that life but it's the wrong message! Ur turning haters into victims!"
He added, "And that only furthers their pointless existence!"

Meeka Claxton Slams Fans For Not Defending Her Against Tami Roman
Meeka Claxton was left to fight her battle against Tami Roman alone. Meeka only lasted one season of Basketball Wives after her drag out fight with Tami in Rome left out in the rain by the other cast members and fans of the show. Fast forward to next season and Tami is back to her bullying ways except this time she's become the outcast and the fans are rallying behind her latest victim Kesha Nichols. Needless to say Meeka isn't very fond of the fans all-of-a-sudden righteousness and released this statement,
“Am I mad? No, more like I’m disappointed.
When I was attacked everyone thought it was funny. No one thought her actions were disgraceful. As a matter of fact the very same ladies (for lack of a better word) that are “hurt” by the backlash, joked about me being attacked. They laughed and even called me names for taking a stand against her.
I thought pressing charges was wack? Oooooh, I get it…it’s wack when it’s not you!
They all (except Royce) stood behind her, co-signing her actions. But now you want everyone to believe you want balance? As much as their hypocrisy bothers me, I expect it because now their actions threaten their money. So, I knew the crocodile tears weren’t far behind.
What really hurts me are all of the talk show hosts and journalists that are suddenly disturbed by what they are seeing. Taking stands, boycotting, signing petitions etc…Isn’t this what I contacted all of you about last year? I asked for your support, none of which I received. But now it’s a problem? So, it was ok for me to be physically assaulted? Where was all of this “Call To Action” last year? Am I less of a human being?”
We must say, Meeka does have a point...

LisaRaye Throws Up The Middle Finger To The Haters
 LisaRaye McCoy, the star of "Single Ladies" isn't ready to appease to her haters over the show. In a recent interview with Huff Post Black Voices,
Critics dubbing the first season embarrassing: “F**k’em! Let them write a show and come up with what they want to see. Until then, the people who love it, tune in.”
On Denise Vasi replacing Dash: “This year we have a new addition to the cast, Denise Vasi, Stacey Dash is no longer with us. I don’t like to use the word replace, but we added a new character to our cast, she comes from the soap opera world. Her character is different because she comes in to the premiere episode with a bang, gets the wind knocked out of her and clings to her friends. And I feel that’s what the gist of the whole series is about, it’s about friendship. She comes in and becomes one of us and then it just embarks on how we are we dating in this day and age…of course I miss the chemistry that she (Dash) and I have. But again, this is a job and this is my profession so I have been hired to do my job and I’m committed to doing that.”
On whether she and Dash on speaking terms now: “We said Happy New Years to each other during New Years. And then I believe after that, I reached out to her one other time, but I want to say that I think she changed her number. But the last time that we actually communicated was New Years … One argument doesn’t break up a friendship unless it was something that was so personal, and it wasn’t personal, it was work related. We were tired, it was what it was and we moved past that. So I think that if either one of us held out against each other, we both would be fools, it’s not that serious.”Single Ladies season two premieres May 28th.

Jordin Sparks Talks Pressure To Pay Tribute To Whitney Houston
Jordin Sparks was under pressure before her performance to pay tribute to the late Whitney Houston last night at the Billboard Music Awards. In the end the actress and singer nailed "I Will Always Love You." However on the red carpet hours earlier Jordin said,
“It’s just very special. I feel very honored to be able to honor Whitney in this way and to sing one of her songs. I’ve actually never performed this song before ever.
It’s one of the songs I’ve always been like, ‘Leave that alone,’ so it’s
nerve-racking for me,” said Jordin.
“It’s a lot of pressure I’m putting
on myself, because I want to do it amazingly, but at the same time,
whatever happens, I just want to be able to speak through the music.”

Nas Talks His Relationship With Kelis In Complex
 Nas opens up about his marriage and subsequent divorce from singer Kelis in the latest issue of Complex magazine. The two are embroiled in a nasty court battle that left Nas monthly debt of over $30K to Kelis. Despite the heft child and spousal support payment Nas says there's no ill will towards Kelis. There's a record about Kelis on Life Is Good that goes into what made you fall in love with her. How hard was that breakup? What was the feeling when she had your son after you were separated?
There was a point where we were trying to hold onto a relationship that was finished. She was pregnant and in the studio while we were recording Distant Relatives, and he would move when the music would come on. That was a great feeling for me, just to have that feeling of family. It ended around the time the record was being done.
There were times when it didn’t bother me, and there were times when it bothered me a lot. There were times when I was thinking, Damn. I had this shit all planned out, and now I’ve failed. That was hard on me, because I don’t like to fail at anything. Accepting that I failed at this relationship—and it was public—messed me up. You ask yourself, How could that person be so cold? And I’m sure she felt the same way about me. It was ugly.
I saw Kelis as Courtney Love—but I also saw her as a mahogany queen. I saw us as a beautiful thing.

Yeah. You know what, I figured part of my first duty as Celebrity Apprentice was to not go out and get drunk, and wake up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to show him that he made the right choice. The worst thing I could do would be to wake up in the back of Scores.
Here’s the thing on everyone’s mind this morning: Do you find Lisa Lampanelli attractive?
[laughs] You know what? When you’re in a moment like that, that is the toughest question you could get. But you know, I really do believe what I said. It probably sounds like a bunch of crap, but have you ever known a really, really classically hot chick who is an a–hole and because of that, you don’t find them quite as pretty? Well in the opposite way, there is nothing cooler than a woman whom you respect intellectually, and is more than just eye candy, and I got to work with her. I know people have a lot of problems with her comedic politics, but she is one of the smartest, most fun women to be around. I do think that brains and intellect in a woman is attractive. By the way, that was a tough question with Dayana Mendoza sitting one seat away! But there are many elements of beauty.
