 Rapper Soulja Boy is just asking for trouble with his latest tweet. The southern rapper who ran into some trouble with the law when he was arrested late last year for weed and possible gun possession. According to the police report there was a "ton" of weed. Maybe this is Soulja Boy's secret stash. Snoop Dogg proceeded to retweet the picture to his fans. Something tells us this will quickly turn into another example of how not to use Twitter.

Soulja Boy Sues Manager For Oppressive Contract
 Soulja Boy is reportedly suing his manager Philip Ransom for his "oppressive" contract. Just off the heels of getting an eviction notice for his Atlanta home, Soulja is stating his manager took advantage of him. According to TMZ, Soulja Boy filed the suit in Georgia Superior Court claiming Ransom "coerced him into signing multiple contracts when he was just starting out (at 16 years old) -- contracts that were 'unconscionable, oppressive, and unjust.'"
Soulja Boy agreed to give Ransom 5% indefinitely of any work completed while Ransom was his manager. In another contract Soulja Boy's record label takes 50% of his copyrights. The young rapper is fighting both contracts stating the latter is "commercially unreasonable" and "contrary to music industry custom and practice."
It might be a tough battle for Soulja Boy to win since industry pundits are claiming his contract meets industry standards.

Soulja Boy To His Fans: 'I'm An Innocent Man'
Soulja Boy wants his fans to know he is an innocent man. The rapper was arrested early Monday morning with three of his friends and a driver while heading to Mississippi. Police initially stopped Soulja Boy's vehicle for a broken tail light - that quickly turned into a guns and weapons charge. Soulja was released on a $10,000 bond.
Soon after Soulja Boy was on twitter thanking his fans and promoting his straight to dvd film "Soulja Boy: The Movie". The movie chronicles Soulja Boy's career until now.
He tweeted: “thank you and i'm sorry. love you forever, seeing your letters and you standing outside that jail made me feel the love. my fans r the best.”
“aye can I have a real [expletive] moment? my fans was DEEP AS [expletive] OUTSIDE THAT JAIL MAN IM SORRY!!! thats love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Soulja Boy had fans waiting outside the jail in Carroll County, GA?!?!?!
Well he's hoping these fans and others will buy his new movie: “Goodnight. much love go cop soulja boy the movie everywhere now thanks for your prayers.” Adding: “I'm innocent man. I love you all. I just want you'll to know I'm innocent.”

Rapper Soulja Boy Arrested For Weed Possession
 Rapper Soulja Boy was arrested early this morning for weed and possibly gun possession. According to TMZ Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, was riding in a car with four other men in Temple, GA when he was pulled over for a traffic violation. That traffic violation quickly turned into possession of weed.
Reports state that there was a "ton" of weed and approximately $70,000 in cash. Guns were also found in the vehicle but it's not clear if licenses were provided. All four men were arrested.
Soulja Boy is being held in Carroll County jail. Temple, GA - what the heck was he doing down there??

Soulja Boy and his brief publicity stunt relationship with former Crime Mob artist Diamond is over. Soulja talked to Vibe.com and talked his relationship, the publicity stunt over his private plane purchase, filming Juice and removing some of his face tattoos.

Sean Kingston Celebrates Freedom With Holiday Party
Sean Kingston celebrated his freedom from the hospital by throwing an Independence day party. The singer suffered a catastrophic jet ski accident last month which resulted in several broken bones, internal bleeding and other injuries. Sean was forced to remain in the hospital to recover from his injuries. But in pure style and fashion, the singer wasted no time letting the world know he's back to his normal self.  Soulja Boy claims that his Facebook page was hacked this past weekend. Over the weekend, someone posing as Soulja Boy posted a long rant about the haters not giving a black man a chance. Soulja told TMZ,
"I wanted to clear the air and let everyone know that my Facebook got hacked. I had administrators on my account that no longer work with me. The hackers used these old accounts to post hateful messages. This was not done by me or anyone on my team and I'm upset that I am being labelled as a racist and homophobic person."

Soulja Boy Faces $1 Million Lawsuit For Skipping Show
Rapper Soulja Boy faces a $1 million lawsuit for skipping a show that cost the promoters thousands. According to All Hip Hop, Soulja Boy was scheduled to perform in Harrisburg in December 2010 and was paid and advance of $16, 250.
The lawsuit filed in Pennsylvania alleges that TrinCity Entertainment paid the advance and spent another $11,500 between transportation and marketing for the event. TrinCity alleges that Soulja Boy's record company Interscope and MySpace Music failed to pay a promised $10,000 to offset TrinCity's cost and repay the advance.
TrinCity is seeking $1 million in damages from Soulja Boy, Interscope and MySpace for breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
Soulja Boy nor his record labels has responded publicly to the suit. We're guessing he's too busy with his new girlfriend, former Crime Mob star, Diamond.

Soula Boy who's back in the news this week for reportedly remaking "Juice" starring in the late Tupac's role and for "dating" Diamond formerly of Crime Mob.  Soulja Boy was set to perform at the University of Minnesota Duluth on Friday only to find an active protest against his “degrading lyrics” when he arrived. SJ took to his twitter prior to arriving saying, "WTF I'm in minesota (sic) its a group of maf**kaz prtoesting (sic) my show. This s**t on all the news." (Welcome to reality!)
Soulja Boy was paid $25,000 to perform for the sold out show but student Arielle Schnur was not having it saying,
“This isn’t OK for this to happen.  Dammit Soulja Boy makes it so hard to continue to hate on him when he's out making business moves like a mogul. He already has a shoe deal lined up with Yums, his Xbox 360 game deal and now he officially has a wireless mobile deal in place with new company Cricket Wireless.
"Under the deal terms, Cricket Wireless will use Soulja Boy’s new single “Kiss Me Thru the Phone” to drive users to their newly launched mobile music service. The music service will allow Cricket customers to purchase songs and download them directly to their mobile phones and also on to their computers. This is the second time in 2 weeks that I get to hate on Soulja Boy, so life is good!
His most recent opportunity undeserved is the upcoming Soulja Boy Tell’em cartoon set to premiere in November. Soulja Boy Tell’em and his friends will be drawn, with the rest of the characters as human actors. Check out the cartoon intro theme song.
“The theme of the show is that I’m a big rap star and super celebrity but I still go to public school. So I’m trying to maintain the life of a regular high school student and a rap star at the same time. You might see me and my homeboys as cartoons clowning around in the classroom, and Meagan Goode might be the teacher.”
This people, I blame on us. How did we let this kid get this much props-he's got actions figures, XBox games, and now cartoons?

Soulja Boy Says He Doesn't Expect To Top The Success Of 'Crank That'
 Soulja Boy says while working on his soon to be released sophomore album, he is taking the approach of not trying to top 'Crank That' and just trying to make some good music.
"According to Soulja Boy, "'Crank That' is one of the biggest songs in the world, period — not just from Soulja Boy,". "Crank That" was one of the most successful songs in 2007, in fact, the song had more than 400 million views on YouTube and went on to become the #1 digital download of all time. Soulja Boy promises that his new single, "Bird Walk," isn't going to be "Crank That: The Sequel." "I don't listen to the critics. I put it out for the fans," he said. "I already know what the critics will say."

 Soulja Boy clarifies the "shout out to slave masters" comment he made recently with interviewer Toure, a 15-year veteran of journalism and one-time employee of CNN, BET and Rolling Stone.
Soulja Boy initially hated on the idea of doing an interview with Toure. "The dude Toure walked up to me and he said, 'Hey man, can I get you for an interview?' And I was like, 'Hell nah, man, get out my face."Soulja Boy justified his controversial answer based on the question, saying that after management persuaded the "Crank Dat" star to participate, he felt otherwise. "As soon as I did the interview, the first question [Toure] asked me a dumb-ass question. He said, 'How do I wanna die?' And I was like, 'Aww man, see I said I didn’t wanna do [the interview] in the first place.'"
According to Toure, "At the Rap City finale I interviewed nine emcees and Soulja Boy, and I gave them all part of the legendary Proust Questionnaire because it's a fun set of questions. It's one thing to beef with Ice T over a misunderstanding that he may have caused. We'll even let you slide if you don't know that the amount of money you're making in your record deal is nothing compared to what your bosses make. We're even fine if you can't think of a historical figure that you hate (as writer/BET host asked Soulja Boy on the Red carpet). All fine. But when he tried to throw you a hint "Hitler, bin Laden, the slave masters…" as options don't interrupt the interviewer with:
" Shout out to the slave masters! Without them we'd still be in Africa.We wouldn't be here, to get this ice and tattoos."
