Apple's iPhone To Invade Verizon
According to reports, Apple is developing a
CDMA-compatible iPhone that would work on mobile carrier Verizon
Communications Inc's network. When asked about the report, an AT&T
spokesman said: "We have a great relationship with Apple and we don't
comment on the specifics of that relationship." AT&T repeated
previous comments that the iPhone "will be an important device for us
for quite some time."
"AT&T has known all along that its exclusive relationship with Apple
would change into something else some day. From the beginning of its
relationship with Apple, AT&T has factored this change into its
business and technology planning," a person familiar with AT&T said. The potential Verizon iPhone would not ship until 2011.

T-Pain Auto-Tunes the IPhone
What more did iPhone need to add to this phone to make it the ish? The newest app addition will prolly be from T-Pain who is teaming up with the famed Auto-Tune designer Antares, so you will sound like T-Pain and Kanye by speaking and recording your voice with the infamous Auto-Tune.
"According to the LA Times, the app won’t let you alter your voice on actual phone calls but instead you will be able to record your Auto-Tuned voice over the beats of T-Pain and listen to them on your iPhone. Under the deal with Antares, T-Pain will do the majority of marketing and publicity for the app and will receive an undisclosed royalty for each app sold. More details to come as the deal continues to develop."
Wow, so now you can sound as annoying as T-Pains over his beats! No crank calling and a couple stalker calls with a disguised auto-tone voice though, but Fuego!

The Dream iPhone Pro

Here's the new iPhone Pro concept. This concept started as a Photoshop idea by Giz reader Mat Brady. He wants to get rid of his Nokia N95 but can't get himself to buy an iPhone for the same reason other people don't like the current iPhone. Lack of a physical keyboard, lack of a good camera, and not enough storage. We are not likely to see this at MacWorld 2009 but it is likely to come in the future.
