Elmo Kicked Katy Perry Off Of Sesame Street - Update
Elmo isn't as nice as we thought he was. Apparently, Katy Perry was recently kicked out of Sesame Street after the production company received complaints about her singer's cleavage in the promo clip. Sesame workshop released the following press release about their decision to pull her:
"In light of the feedback we've received on the Katy Perry music video, which was released on YouTube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschooler," the company said in a statement Thursday. "Katy Perry fans will still be able to view the video on YouTube."
