Jordin Sparks Talks Pressure To Pay Tribute To Whitney Houston
Jordin Sparks was under pressure before her performance to pay tribute to the late Whitney Houston last night at the Billboard Music Awards. In the end the actress and singer nailed "I Will Always Love You." However on the red carpet hours earlier Jordin said,
“It’s just very special. I feel very honored to be able to honor Whitney in this way and to sing one of her songs. I’ve actually never performed this song before ever.
It’s one of the songs I’ve always been like, ‘Leave that alone,’ so it’s
nerve-racking for me,” said Jordin.
“It’s a lot of pressure I’m putting
on myself, because I want to do it amazingly, but at the same time,
whatever happens, I just want to be able to speak through the music.”

Jason Derulo Rejects Jordin Sparks Dating Rumors
The "It Girl" singer Jason Derulo wants you to know he's NOT dating former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. Jordin who's recently slimmed downed and looks more gorgeous than ever, was spotted out with Jason last weekend in Hollywood. Jordin was on hand to help Jason celebrate his 22nd birthday - so of course - rumors immediately began swirling that the two were an item.
Nope, Jason rejected the rumor stating, "Jordin Sparks is an absolute sweetheart. She's a very nice girl. We've been friends for a while now. We're just friends".
He also spoke to MTV about his "It Girl",
"My 'It Girl' is somebody who is selfless, somebody who's not thinking about herself all the time, but just caring about what others need," Derülo revealed. "I think that's really sexy ... and somebody who likes to have a good time. I'm kinda crazy. It would be nice to have somebody who's kind of into that."
Well so much for that...now about those gay rumors....

Jordin Sparks Flaunts Slim And Trim Body In Bikini - Pictures
Jordin Sparks has laid to rest any rumors that she lost her 30lbs any other way than eating right and exercising. The former American Idol winner continues to flaunt her newly svelte body when she shared a twit pic of herself in a starburst polka dot colored bikini saying, "I don't know why but my bathing suit reminds me of fruity pebbles. :)". Jordin Sparks Snatches Up Role In Broadway Play
Jordin Sparks - Former American Idol star, Jordin Sparks, is set to light a fire of her own on Broadway later this summer. Following in the footsteps of Idol contestants like Fantasia Barrino and Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks has big shoes to fill and a lot expected of her. Jordin will play Nina Rosario, a college student with a secret who returns to her old neighborhood in New York's Washington Heights. Jordin won't be alone, her star power will be complemented with the presence of Corbin Bleu of "High School Musical" fame. Jordin Sparks will join the ensemble for 12 weeks, from Aug. 19 through Nov. 14. A touring production of "In the Heights" is also scheduled to hit the Pantages Theatre in June. In other news, Jordin Sparks recently lent her fame - along with the likes of Oprah - to the don't text while driving movement. Kudos to you Jordin Sparks, you go girl!
