T.I Brings Out Celebrities For First Welcome Home Party
 T.I made it out of the halfway house just in time for the BET Hip Hop awards. Which means a weekend filled with parties. One party kicked off as T.I's welcome home party where a few celebrities came out to welcome home the self-proclaimed King. Nelly Implores Kelly Rowland To Come Back To R & B
No thanks to the likes of Matthew Knowles, Kelly Rowland is a huge success in Europe. Given the demographic makeup of those countries, R&B ballads that Kelly Rowland was known for in her Destiny's Child days aren't very high on her priorities list - that is, they won't pay the rent. So, Kelly is stuck in the middle of a techno-electro-house music style that gets the party jumping, but doesn't really resonate with her American fans. Nelly Does Not Claim Ashanti And Never Has
R&B star, Ashanti, wasn't foolish back in the day when she feigned coy about her relationship with Nelly. We thought the issue was that Ashanti wanted to keep her private life...well... private. However, it just may be that Nelly wasn't claiming her as his girl in the first place. When interviewed in Chicago about his love affair with Ashanti, he said:
"Who said that? Well what have we always said? Of course I'm single. I'm not married, she's not married. Here's the thing. I've never said I'm in a relationship, she's never said she's in a relationship. I don't know where they do that at. But we've always admitted to being friends. We hang out. She's a very sweet girl. Very pretty girl. Very talented. She does her thing as far as her career and I do my thing as far as mine."
Wow! That's so 7th grade, just admit that you 'like like' her Nelly and we can move on...

Nelly Launching the Apple Bottom Fragrance
 Nelly is getting his moguldom on and is taking the Apple Bottoms franchise to the next level. He just announced that he will be dropping an Apple Bottoms Fragrance line.
According to the press release, the fragrance is "designed to be the perfect compliment to the lifestyle of the Apple Bottoms woman,” celebrating the “beauty and the curves we see in our core female demographic.”
Hmmmm, I am not sure I would want to smell like apples or bottoms. Let's hope the formulating team is on point with this.

Nelly will not marry Ashanti, until she puts her mom in check
Sources say that Nelly likes it and wants to put a ring on it, but Ashanti’s mom-ager is c*ckblocking all the time.
“Tina sticks her nose in everything because she’s also Ashanti’s manager...She’s always pushing Ashanti to make more money, to always look great. It stresses her out, and Nelly doesn’t like that..."Before he makes her his wife,” adds the source, “Nelly wants to know that Ashanti can make decisions on her own.
If Ashanti knows what's up, she will put that independent act together real quick, because no dude wants a chick that's still hanging off her moms' melons.

Nelly Confirms He is dating Ashanti
Nelly has recently confirmed that he and Ashanti are a couple and have been dating for four years.
Nelly told People magazine, "I think it's always serious when you can hang with a person continuously... and have fun." The big question is why did it take him 4 years to confirm what everyone else already knew. I'll tell you why - he is trying to create a little extra buzz to sell his music.
