Drake Doesn't Take Ludacris 'That Seriously'
 Drake hasn't built his successful, still relatively new career as a battle rapper - so it's not surprising that his first instinct isn't to pounce on every rapper that throws a diss his way. In the February/March issue of Vibe Drake address a few of these beefs. Atlanta rapper Future called out Drake for not appearing in his video for "Tony Montana" despite dropping a verse. He called the diss a "slap in the face." Drake's response,
“I’ve got no issues with [Future]. I’m happy I got on the song.”
Next beef up was Pusha T's track 'Don't F*ck With Me' where he raps “The talk don’t match the leather/The swag don’t match the sweaters.”
Drake's response, “I’ve been really open about my love for the Clipse. I don’t know, maybe that guy is bored.”
Lastly, Drake and Big Sean found themselves on the receiving end of Ludacris' wrath when they accused him of stealing their style of flow. Luda proceeded to release 'Badaboom' to answer back.
Drake's response,
"[Ludacris,] that’s a case of someone trying to use my marketing money to get things going again for themselves. That didn’t affect my day, my month, my year. I didn’t take any of that seriously."

Ciara Attends Charity Event In Wheelchair
Ciara, Big Boi, Ludacris, Toya, Memphitz and others were on hand to join UpFront Records CEO DeVyne Stephens at his charity event. DeVyne Intervention Foundation hosted a charity skating event in Atlanta, Ga to raise money for Hosea Feed the Hungry. Reportedly the event raised thousands of dollars to feed the homeless over the holidays. Check out more pics below:

Ludacris Fires Shots At Drake And Big Sean
 Just one day after Drake dropped his sophomore album 'Take Care' Atlanta rapper Ludacris decided it was the perfect time to drop his mixtape diss dedicated to Drake and Big Sean.Here's the beef started according to MTV,
Back in May Big Sean joined Sway on RapFix Live, where he chatted about rappers who were duplicating his “Supa Dupa” punch line flow (aka hashtag rap). In an earlier interview with AllHipHop, Drake—who credits Sean with introducing him to the style, made popular on tracks like “Forever”—called out Ludacris, in particular, for an unsuccessful attempt at copying the style on the single “My Chick Bad” ("Comin' down the street like a parade/Macy's!") Luda clearly hasn’t forgotten the jab, because on the new single “Bada Boom” from his 1.21 Gigawatts: Back To the First Time mixtape the ATL rapper takes a few shots at Big Sean and Drake.

Justin Bieber Recruits Kanye West And Drake For New Album
 Justin Bieber may have gotten the boot from BET's Cypher but he's quickly regaining some street cred with the announcement of collaborations with Kanye West and Drake separately.
The pop singer who reportedly enlisted Ludacris to write his rhymes for the cypher, Luda has denied the claim, further confirmed his love for the genre when he remixed Drake's 'Trust Issues', rapped on Chris Brown's mixtape and even has a rap alter ego called 'Shawty Mane'.
Of course its a two way street - Bieber fever is real and artist can benefit from Bieber's die hard fans.
Bieber told Capital FM about his sophomore album 'Believe',
“I’m working with a lot of cool people. I’m working with Kanye. Drake is gonna work on the album with me and a lot of different artists.”

Ludacris Denies Request To Write Justin Bieber Cypher Rhymes
 Ludacris has come to the defense of teenybopper Justin Bieber. Bieber who is desperate to own some street cred requested a spot on BET's Cypher - except he was denied by DJ Premier. Premier stated in a video that Bieber asked Atlanta based rapper Ludacris to write his rhymes - which would of course defeat the purpose.
"If you ain't writing your own rhyme, you can't do it."
Premier added, "Write your own rhymes, honey. You gotta call him honey on that one."
News got around to Ludacris who quickly cleared things up on Twitter:
"My Lil homie @justinbieber loves hip hop and at no point was I supposed to write his cypher flow. #getyafactsright"
DJ Premier who appears to hold no hard feelings toward denying Justin tweeted in response,
"Spoke 2 @Ludacris and he witnessed Justin Beiber write his rhymes and that he can flow... He said he wasn't s'posed to write 4 tha Cypher... So shout to @Ludacris for givin' me the correct info."

Waka Flocka Defends Himself During Brawl At Charity Bowling Event
 Rapper Waka Flocka was up in arms as he was forced to defend himself during a charity bowling event in Atlanta, GA. Flocka and his foundation Mizay Entertainment headed by his mother Deb Antney hosted the charity event in Atlanta. At a popular bowling alley, Waka invited other industry favorites like Ludacris who repped his Luda Foundation and Toya Carter her with Visual Beauty.
According to Freddy-O, Waka and his mother announced their foundation would reward single parent and grandparent headed households with 10 homes. After this announcement Waka was approached by a artist that was previously released from his label. It was unclear what words were exchanged but it quickly turned physical. Police were at the venue taking statements. No injuries were reported, no guns were present and the event continued as planned.
Waka who also pledged $50 for each strike lost to Luda's team who won with 10 strikes. Check out the pics below:

Serena Williams, Ludacris and other celebrities have been turning out for the NBA Finals with the first two games in Miami, Florida. The series is tied with Miami's Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade taking the first game and Dallas taking the second game in Miami. Ludacris Denies Wedding Rumors Via Twitter
"Fast Five" actor Ludacris took to his twitter account to deny rumors he wed his longtime girlfriend Euxodie last week. Singer Monica reportedly offered her congratulations and welcomed Ludacris into the family, Monica and Euxodie are cousins.
Ludacris didn't seem amused by the rumors posting on his twitter page,
"I’ve learned so much about myself this past 2 years through rumors, can u pls (please) make up some more cause I can’t wait 2 c what happens 2 me next! Just mad I’m the last one to find out about it!"
Ludacris is enjoying the success of his no. 2 movie "Fast Five".

Paul Walker And Vin Diesel Dominate At The Box Office With "Fast Five"
 Paul Walker and co-stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Vin Diesel, Tyrese and Ludacris scored a major hit at the box office with "Fast Five", the fifth installment from the "Fast & Furious" franchise.
"Fast Five" was a solid hit at number 1 with $83.6 million, according to studio estimates Sunday.
Universal Pictures had a winning formula when they reunited many of the lead roles from the previous "Fast & Furious" to score one more heist while adding Dwayne Johnson to sweeten the deal.
Will Paul Walker and "Fast Five" continue to dominate next weekend with the release of "Thor"?

Nate Dogg - Nate Dogg's Funeral No Longer Open To The Public
Nate Dogg - The late West Coast singer Nate Dogg's funeral will be held today. (3.26). Thousands are expected to pay condolences to the artist who died on March 15th. Nate Dogg is best known for his rap collaborations with West Coast rappers such as Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre later including the likes of Ludacris.
According to the Associated Press,
The family of Nate Dogg - whose real name is Nathaniel Dwayne Hale - decided that the Saturday morning services at the Queen Mary Dome in Long Beach would not be open to the public as they had previously wanted, but they made 1,000 tickets and shuttles available to members of the public who claimed them first.
Organizers had sought a more central location in Long Beach for the funeral, but none proved large enough for the numbers of expected mourners. Shante Broadus, wife of Nate Dogg friend and collaborator Snoop Dogg, teamed with Long Beach City Councilman Dee Andrews to find the space. Andrews' office predicted "thousands of mourners" would attend.

Nate Dogg - Snoop Dogg And Other Rappers Pay Tribute To The Late Nate Dogg
Nate Dogg - Snoop Dogg and others rappers who had a chance to work with the late melodic west coast singer Nate Dogg, Nathaniel Dwayne Hale who died on Tuesday (3.15), paid tribute via their Twitter and/or website.
The 41 year old, Nate Dogg, passed away in Long Beach, California, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to his family.
The cause of his death is not yet known, but the hip-hop star spent the last few years struggling to recover from a series of strokes, which paralyzed him down the left side of his body.
Snoop Dogg wrote on his Twitter, "We lost a true legend in hip-hop and rnb. One of my best friends a brother to me... I love u buddy luv. U will always b wit me 4ever and a day... U put the 1 213...
"I miss u... I am so sad but so happy I got to grow up wit u and I will c u again heaven cuz u know slogan... all doggs go to heaven... Rip Nate Dogg."

Ludacris and Serena Launch Contest for Athlete Theme Song
 We all know Serena is a dominate athlete and Ludacris holds his own in the entertainment industry as well. Now the two has teamed up to invite songwriters, rappers and singers to participate in a competition to find the perfect track to motivate Serena dominate some more called "Serena’s Song".
The winner will be selected by the fan communities on Ludacris' and Williams' official websites. Serena says, "Sports and music have such a powerful connection. I always see athletes including myself listening to music, while they're getting ready for or decompressing after a match, or a race, or a game, whichever the sport."
I can appreciate these sought of contest, it’s a cool way to get some fresh new sounds.

DJ Khaled New President of Def Jam South
DJ Khaled is the new president of Def Jam South overseeing artist like Ludacris, Young Jeezy and Ace Hood. I wonder what the qualifications are for someone to hold this executive level type position. Can you think of any executive who an artist first and succeeded at this job – except Jay-z of course?
DJ Khaled had this to say about his appointment, “This is what I’ve always wanted to do, be an executive and take it to another level." I can only imagine what interview was like – if there was any!
Next up for Khaled is overseeing the release of Rick Ross’s next album, “Deeper Than Rap”. Damn, that’s bad timing for his first project. If Khaled had revive Ross from the dead than he deserves this job!

Ludacris' "Theater of the Mind" Vs. Kayne West's "'808's and Heartbreak'"
 Ludacris' Theater of the Mind and Kayne West's '808's and Heartbreak', are both being released today and will compete for album sales. Ludacris recently stated that,
"Though new albums are typically released on Tuesdays, Ludacris' Theater of the Mind and Kanye West's 808's and Heartbreak will both be released on Monday. "That's the same week as Thanksgiving and on Thursday the stores are closed because of the holiday so they just added an extra day for the seven day week," Ludacris explained.
With all the publicity and hype Kayne's been getting recently, should Luda be worried about his album sale. We all remember what happened back in Oh-Seven with the Kayne and 50 Cent album face off. The Louis Vuitton Donn waxed the floor with 50’s album expectantly selling 957,000 copies its first week on the charts. This wasn't enough to have Luda shook tho'.
It's cool to play nice, but both of these albums would sell more if Kanye and Luda's camp drummed up a version 2.0 of the Kanye Vs. 50 Cent beef.

Ludacris dubs Theater of the Mind a Classic
 Ludacris is calling his yet to be released album a ‘classic’, a ‘collector’s item’. Theater of the Mind to be released November 24 features a slew of high profile artists to include both Jay-Z and Nas on "I Do It for Hip Hop" and T.I. on "Wish You Would." Common and legendary Hollywood filmmaker Spike Lee partner up on "Do the Right Thang," and others such as Rick Ross, the Game, Plies and Lil Wayne.
Luda mentioned that he “would love to do a tour where it's me, T.I. and Jeezy…..that would be outrageous.” There will be a lot of ego-tripping on this hypothetical tour. My bet is on T.I. to maintain the ‘King of the South’ crown. Though I’m sure it’s all love between the Three Kings.

It might not be Luda's next single or even Lil Wayne's best collabo verse, however it's important to show how and why hip hop lives in the south: U-N-I-T-Y. It took 10 years before and a beef before Nas and Jay-Z would even perform in the same venue, much less get on a song together, and Brooklyn and Queens are right next to each other!!! Props to Luda and Lil Wayne on this track, even though it's only a 7 on a scale of 1 - 10.

Luda Got That FIRE!!
Ludacris is more than spitting hot fire, now he's living in it. According to a local Atlanta station
"Hip-hop star Ludacris has lost part of his Atlanta, Georgia home
after a raging fire rampaged through the mansion on Wednesday night. Atlanta
fire officials have confirmed they were called to a property belonging
to the rapper and battled for 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze which
completely destroyed the property's pool house. The star was not
staying at the home when the fire began, but a relative was in the
basement of the main property and escaped uninjured. The fire is under investigation as the cause could not be immediately determined."
At least it was just the house....
