Snoop Dogg and Darth Vader March on Times Square To Promote New adidas
Snoop Dogg partnered with Darth Vader to promote the adidas Originals x Star Wars Spring/Summer 2010 collection. The rapper and the dark lord marched through Times Square in New York City on Thursday (Feb. 4) with R2-D2, and a legion of stormtroopers. According to reports, Snoop will appear in commercials for adidas Originals later next month. Fieg adds his touch of premium materials to the classic silhouette, combining high grade navy nubuck alongside tumbled navy leather. adidas Consortium Plug Pack - Sneakers
The adidas Consortium Plug Pack mix premium materials with a striking mix of bright green and brown on the Kegler Super, and a bright red upper for the usually muted Grand Slam, adding a ridged, textured rear panel and subtle ‘fade’ effect, highlighting the plugs themselves. The green and brown is a keeper, the red upper goes in the trash. Someone actually wasted their time designing that mess.

adidas Originals Nusslein
adidas have brought out the Nuesslein, inspired from an old leather tennis court shoe in a canvas-coated felt. This vintage looking trainer puts emphasis on it's unusual shape around the toe box with some intricate adidas branding. This black wool material is accented with gold on the Adidas imprint on the tongue and on the three stripes on the side panels. This also has a checkered detailing found on the piping on the collar which adds accent to the upper. This sneaker is finished with a white midsole that has a red stripe accent on it.

 The Instinct is a classic Adidas basketball shoe, it features gray as the base color with purple and yellow - the team colors of the Lakers. The laces read “42 pts 15 reb 7 ast” which dates back to game 6 of the 1980 NBA Finals where Magic Johnson led the Lakers by playing guard, forward, and the center position, due to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar spraining his ankle in the previous game. Magic became the only player in NBA history to be named as NBA Finals MVP in his rookie season.

adidas Originals 2009 Spring/Summer “Diamond” Pack
The “Diamond” pack features the iconic Superstar as well as a matching t-shirt. The Superstar is done up in six 0.2 carat diamonds inserted in-between the medial-side of the trademark three stripes. A total of 409 Swarovski crystals can also be seen on the adi Trefoil t-shirt. The Superstar and tee will be priced at $721 USD and $69 USD respectively. Look for a January 31st release in Taiwan.

The new “Superstar 80s” adidas features a few colorways true to the original releases. A number of white colorways are seen as well as the lone black/green color. This particular collection was made in France much like previous 1980s manufactured Superstars. Look for a December 13th release date.

Adidas Originals is set to release a collection of Adidas classics with a common foil-style theme. Each shoe is foiled with a stint of metallic style materials. The collection includes two Superstar, a Pro Model and a Forum Low. Our favorite is the predominantly white colorway. The release date is set for November 10th at select locations.

The upper features brown nubuck and the ‘lava’ orange soles are vulcanized for better grip and flexibility.
