Chris Brown Denies Taking Swipe At Frank Ocean
Chris Brown went on Twitter and issued what sounds like Chris Brown’s version of an apology for an apparently anti-gay statement he made about R&B singer Frank Ocean.
As he was leaving a nightclub in the south of France last week, apparently having imbibed some adult beverages, Brown was set upon by paparazzi, one of whom asked his opinion on Ocean, who recently announced that he was gay.
Brown’s response was short: “Man, no homo.”
The meaning of “no homo” is still up for debate. In some quarters it is intended to mean that the speaker is denying any connection to homosexuality, but it isn’t necessarily harshly homophobic. At any rate, Brown was not pleased by the criticism he has been getting. His first tweet said, “My Opinion on the whole Frank Ocean subject is ……… Love who u wanna love. It’s ur decision. People stop searching for BS.”
But Brown wasn’t done yet. In a second tweet, Brown seemed to take aim at his critics:

Frank Ocean Talks New Album And Working With Jay-Z
Frank Ocean is set to debut his first official album after dropping Nostalgia online for free back in February. In an recent interview with BBC News, Ocean, 24, talks his new album and working with industry vets.
On working with Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Kanye West: “It’s pretty rad to hear Beyoncé sing a song of yours or to hear Jigga, ‘Ye rhyme over and be on a song that you’re on. These are some of the heroes of my generation, so even being called out to be on those projects… It wasn’t like I was shopping a song for these projects. They called me to come to the studio and that’s pretty rad.”
On his new album, due this spring: “It succinctly defines me as an artist for where I am right now and that was the aim, just to make something that represents where you are at that time. It’s about the stories. If I write 14 stories that I love, then the next step is to get the environment of music around it to best envelop the story and all kinds of sonic goodness—sonic goodies.”
On his goals: “I’ve been feeling really mortal lately. If I could do anything from today on, it would be doing whatever it is that I do at a level of excellence. That’s all I’m really trying to do while I’m here.”

Chris Brown Ends Twitter Beef With Odd Future
Chris Brown, Frank Ocean and the remaining Odd Future crew ended their twitter beef after things appeared to get out of end. Earlier this week, a video surfaced showing Tyler the Creator being chased in a vehicle by a group of men who appear to be affiliates of Chris Brown.
The impact of beefing became all to real for Frank Ocean when he posted on Twitter,
“alrite. this has to end" said Frank Ocean. "freeze on social networks for a minute. freeze on the internet. freeze on the matrix. real world time. brb"
Tyler the Creator added,
“Send 7 Dudes With A Camera To Make Frankie Look Like A Bi--h, Like, Really?” said Tyler. “And Its Not [Chris] That’s Doing It, Its The People Around Him. They Like ‘You Gonna Let Him Say That? F--k That Ni**a’. This S--t Has Gotten Outta Hand. Real S--t.”
Chris Brown posted earlier,
"This beef sh-t is stupid, @frank_ocean I respect ya music and you and Odd Future! Ain't beefin' wit nobody. Ya'll can have that! Love"
When will Chris Brown and others learn that Twitter is more trouble than it is worth?!
