Manny Pacquaio, Floyd Mayweather Seem Imminent
Manny Pacquaio said he will acquiesce to Floyd Mayweather Jr.s’
demands — including drug testing and taking less money — in order to
make the fight the boxing world has desired for some time.
A Pacquiao-Mayweather fight would be the richest bout in history if
it occurs while both are at or near their prime. Mayweather has been
adamant about a few things that have held up an agreement.
On Thursday, during an appearance on ESPN2′s “First Take,” Pacquiao said he is willing to give in to Mayweather’s demands.
“I’m waiting for that fight to happen,” Pacquiao, boxing’s only
eight-division world champion, said. “I don’t know what’s the reason why
that fight has not happened. . . It’s OK for me if he gets a higher
percentage than me.”
In January, Mayweather (43-0, 26 KOs), a five-division champion, and
Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38 KOs) spoke on the phone about a possible deal
during which Mayweather offered to pay him a flat fee of $40 million for
a proposed fight but would not allow him to share in the revenue. In
the original negotiation, Mayweather agreed to a 50-50 split. Read more at Atlantablackstar.com

Floyd Mayweather And 50 Cent's Baby Mothers Team Up Against Them
Josie Harris (right), Floyd Mayweather's ex-girlfriend and mother to three of his children and Shaniqua Tompkin, the mother of 50 Cent's 15-year old sold had a lot to say to MommysDirtyLittleSecret.com about their exes.
On Shaniqua Tompkins relationship with 50 cent It has its ups and downs. It’s a hard relationship to explain. He’s a bitter man, very bitter.
On being sued by 50 Cent I didn’t sue him, he took me to court for child support, he sued me for defamation of character. The only time I tried to sue him is when he tried to evict me and his son from our home, the home he promised to give me. Because at the time the house burned down, I was asked in public who I thought burned my house down and I said he (50 Cent) did. When your money’s very long you can pay someone to do something. But that’s still you doing it, you’re just as guilty.
On whether Floyd Money Mayweather and 50 cent make good fathers Josie Harris: I hate to say it but yes Floyd is a good dad. The kids love him and are in Vegas with him right now for the Cotto fight.
Shaniqua Tompkins: 50 is a good provider, but a good father? No. He hasn’t been to one of his son’s games. In fact, the last time he saw his son was December. When we were together he helped raise my daughter along with our son, but when we were finally over it all stopped. He was no longer a father to his son. He thinks financially providing equates to being a dad, but it doesn’t.

50 Cent Mocks Jay-Z And Beyonce's Baby
50 Cent/Curtis Jackson was back to his old ways. 50 stopped in Las Vegas to attend the Consumer Electronics Show to promote his own brand of headphones (which he said has beat out Dr. Dre's Beats) and apparently got bored with his homie Floyd Mayweather...pause.
50 took to Twitter to posted a few pictures. In the first group 50 and Floyd are making faces while 50 holds stacks of money on his forearm.
'I was thinking I could make a lot of money one day.
'Then I got mad cause some chumps was hatin on me.
'So I joined a gang lol THE MONEY TEAM ... We made it mom top of the world!!!!.( James cagney voice)lol.'
After those tweets, 50 tweeted a photo shopped spoof picture of what Jay-Z and Beyonce's baby might look like,
'Yal play to much congratulations to JAYZ and Beyonce BABY #BlueIvyCarter IS GEORGOUS.'
Keeping the humor in full effect, he added, 'You bull s***ing they will pay a million dollars for a picture of that baby lol trust me.'
Did 50 Cent cross the line - or is it all in jest?

Fabolous Accuses Media Sites Of Altering Face After Ray J Brawl
Fabolous and Ray J were unintentionally the buzz for nearly four days. Too bad neither of them has used this to their benefit. Ray J is busy apologizing and now wants to put the event behind him and look to a positive future. 50 Cent the supposed instigator can't stop grinning while he retells the story. And Fabolous is scurrying to keep his story straight that Ray J never swung on him.
A video recently surfaced that shows a knot on the right side of Fabolous' head while he was performing. Fab used his performance as proof that nothing happened yet it's that same proof that's being used against him. For those people who have time on their hands to alter a video image - not entirely sure that can be done - but let's assume it can be - Fab has this to say...
"A day ago Media Takeout had pics of it supposedly being my eye..When sites are altering pics & videos to make a story, sh*t jus gets WACK"
Check out the video - is it altered?

Did Floyd Mayweather Sucker Punch Victor Ortiz?
It's been nearly 48 hours after the fight and the question still remains, did Floyd Maywether sucker punch Victor Ortiz? Catch out what various sports pundits had to say,
Dan Rafael of ESPN,
Cortez motioned the fighters back together to resume the fight. Although he was looking away from the fighters, the fight was back on. Yet Ortiz was still trying to touch gloves with Mayweather, who instead unloaded a left and right to knock Ortiz out. Ortiz broke the cardinal rule of boxing -- protect yourself at all times. Mayweather, who took heat for a supposed sucker punch, did nothing wrong. Absolutely nothing wrong. Time was in, fight is on. This ain't checkers or golf. Ortiz made a rookie mistake and paid for it. It was his fault, not Mayweather's, and too bad for him.
Kyle Vassalo with Bleacher Report had a different take,
Instead, a classless sucker punch left audiences feeling as though they had thrown their money away. It was fair, in the sense that it was between the bells, but Mayweather got a cheap win that hurt not only his legacy, but the sport in general.
Boxing is not a friendly sport, but there is still etiquette. If an opponent goes to touch gloves, there is an unwritten rule that you don't tee off on him. Ortiz was apologizing for a headbutt when Mayweather laid him out.

Floyd Mayweather Arrested Again For Battery In Vegas
Floyd Mayweather spent the night in jail after being arrested for the second time in three months. Police say boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been freed from a Las Vegas jail following his arrest on a misdemeanor warrant alleging he assualted a security guard in the face last month outside his home. Officer Jacinto Rivera said Friday that Floyd Mayweather's release without bail from the Clark County jail came less than 12 hours after his arrest late Thursday at a Las Vegas-area casino. The warrant stems from a battery charge alleging Mayweather poked a 21-year-old security guard in the face during a Nov. 15 argument over parking tickets. The undefeated champion has been free on bail on unrelated felony charges stemming from a September dispute with his children and their mother.

Floyd Mayweather Accused Of Using Bentley As Deadly Weapon
Floyd Mayweather is being accused of assault with a deadly weapon. The boxer didn't use his hands as the deadly weapon this time and allegedly elected to use his very expensive Bentley to attempt to run a former employee off the road in Las Vegas.
According to TMZ, Quincey Williams filed a police report on Monday, claiming Mayweather busted a u-turn in his Bentley and then "tried to run him off the road."
Police haven't spoken to Floyd yet about the alleged incident, but one of Floyd's homies, Ocie Harris, had previously been indicted for the attempted murder of Williams back in 2009.
Floyd Mayweather is also accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend last month. He is scheduled to attend court in January for his domestic abuse case.

Manny Pacquiao A Punk For Not Meeting Floyd Mayweather In The Ring?
Championship boxers, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are on a course with destiny whether they like it or not. So, why would Manny Pacquiao, a known warrior inside the ring be pussyfooting around suiting up and getting in the ring with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Is there really any plausible excuse? Yes, we know that Mayweather is known for his outrageous theatrics and that his all-of-a-sudden drug test demands were just that. But how, in any way does that justify Manny Pacquiao not just settling those scores and shutting Mayweather up the right way - in the ring! Manny Pacquiao Vs. Floyd Mayweather: Manny's Camp Looking For New Fighter

Manny Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum will choose another opponent for the Filipino fighter after failing to reach a deal for the WBO welterweight title bout with Floyd Mayweather. Talks between Arum's Top Rank and Mayweather's Golden Boy promoters have stalled over the issue of random blood testing, demanded by Mayweather's team and rejected by Pacquiao. Arum set a Monday deadline for Golden Boy to accept a "final offer" in which both sides could come to a compromised agreement. Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, said that there was no question of accepting that proposal.
"Random is random. We are not backing off and the ball is in their court," said Ellerbe.
"If that is the case then tomorrow morning we will announce who Manny will fight on March 13 and it won't be Floyd Mayweather," Arum told the news.
Drats! It looks like they may be serious about cancelling this fight, which is sad because we can't think of a better fight to kick off the next decade. Let's hope tomorrow morning there's a change of heart.

Manny Pacquiao Vs. Floyd Mayweather: Fate Of The Fight Determined Today
Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather's camps have until today to come to an agreement on the fight or else the March 13, 2010 will simply not occur. Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum insisted he will not change his stand about the drug-testing procedure that he thinks is more than enough to determine wrong-doing. Mayweather's team, on the other hand is saying that while they have agreed to tap another agency to do the testing, some of the tests will still have to be random. Manny's team supports their refusal by stating:
"Manny knows that it’s going to be huge if he fights Mayweather but he knows as well that he has to fight for what he believes is right"
Both Pacquiao and Mayweather are guaranteed $25 million each and they both stand to get as much as $40 million once everything is counted. $40 Milli?? Are you kidding?? Pacquiao should be jumping at the chance to get in the ring for that much money. You know how far $40 Milli can stretch in the Phillippines?

Manny Pacquiao To Floyd Mayweather 'Shut Your Big Pretty Mouth'

Manny Pacquiao / Floyd Mayweather Fight May Be OVER - Possible Cancellation?
The Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayeather fight may be over without ever declaring a winner. According to one source, promoter Bob Arum declared the megafight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. dead Thursday, though efforts continued to find a compromise to a dispute over blood testing. "It's over," Arum said. "O-V-E-R." Arum had set a Thursday deadline for an agreement on testing, the only issue not resolved for the planned March 13 fight. But with the Mayweather camp still insisting on using the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency to conduct the tests, Arum said there wasn't much left to discuss.

Manny Pacquiao Looking To Sue Floyd Mayweather & Golden Boy Promotions
Manny Pacquiao and his partners have had enough of Floyd Mayweather's out of the ring antics, including Mayweather's allegations that Pacquioa may be taking illegal steroids and demanding olympic-style testing. Today, they officially released this in the press:
"Enough is enough. These people, Mayweather Sr., Jr., and Golden Boy Promotions, think it is a joke and a right to accuse someone wrongly of using steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs. I have tried to just brush it off as a mere pre-fight ploy but I think they have gone overboard, said Pacquiao in Tagalog while celebrating Christmas with his family here.
Libel, slander and defamation suits are being readied against the accused to once and for all clear out Pacquiaos good name and character. This week, Mayweather and Golden Boy Promotions came out with a press release threatening to put a stop to the projected biggest fight in boxing history between the two top pound-for-pound fighters in the world, by asking too many unrealistic and unprecedented items on the bargaining table, including that of an Olympic-style drug testing."

Manny Pacquiao Refuses Steroid Test Mandate From Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
Manny Pacquiao is refusing to have his blood drawn and tested for steroid usage leading some leading boxing critics to question his ethics and potentially his past wins. The refusal to take the test comes as a response to Floyd Mayweather at the last minute, increasing the rigor of the test suggesting that they both subject themselves to the highest form of steroid test used only by the Olympics comittee. According to Pacquiao's camp:

Mayweather Injures Self, Postpones Fight
Mayweather was poised to reclaim his throne in boxing after announcing he's coming out of retirement. His first anticipated fight was with Juan Manuel Marquez in July that would have for sure been a sold out HBO Pay-Per-View fete!
But Mayweather sustained a rib injury while training and postponed the fight saying, "I am extremely disappointed that this fight has to be postponed," said Mayweather. "I was training very hard and looking forward to getting back in the ring on July 18th."
Most people thought that Mayweather would have won his comeback fight but for the heck of it - Do you think Mayweather purposely bought himself more time or is his injury authentic?

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Sued For Stealing Rapper
Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is being sued by bosses of a New York management company, accusing him of stealing a rap artist for his label. Executives at Long Island-based Just for You Entertainment accuse Floyd of "surreptitiously signing" Freck Billionaire - real name Jeffrey Whitters - to Philthy Rich last year (08).
Just for You executives claim to have spent $155,000 on studio time, living costs, and travel expenses under an exclusive contract signed with the rapper in 2005. They are seeking at least $600,000 in damages.
This would have been believable except we know that no unknown record company is spending $155,000 on another unknown rapper!! Floyd just got served the luxury tax!

50 Cent Brawling With Mayweather Over Cash
Success junkie 50 Cent does not let friendship get in the way of his business. 50 recently admited that him and his good friend - or so we thought - boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr were feuding over some cash he owed 50 for appearing at his over-hyped Wrestlemani XXIV fight back in April. If you remember, HBO did a pre-match special with Floyd and 50 was all in thru Mayweathers' crib like they were homeboys from way back.
Well, 50 may have been getting a paid appearance, because according to 50, "He [Mayweather] was going to do the match...and he started telling everyone that I was going to be there....everyone got all excited and started asking me if I was going to come, and I was like, 'If you're really getting $20 million for this, then give me some money." Dang, that's how homies do it now?
Needless to say, 50 got chumped - never got his cash and got hit in the back of the ear by his frenemy Floyd.
