Beyonce Set To Perform Via Satellite At The 2011 BET Awards
Beyonce is set to perform via satellite for her "appearance" at the 2011 BET Awards. Beyonce is headlining this years Glastonbury Festival in London on June 26th, the same night at the BET awards. So instead of missing out on plugging in her new album dropping just two days later, Beyonce as has opted to stream her performance live from London - either that or BET is just desperate to add Beyonce's name to the bill any way they can.

Prince Prepped To Receive Lifetime Achievement Honor At BET Awards
R&B/Rock innovator, Prince, will go down in BET history with the likes of Whitney Houston, Diana Ross and James Brown as a lifetime achiever honored at the next BET awards. Stephen Hill, president of programming over at BET says that the tribute will be 'unique' - we don't doubt that at all - and praises Prince saying “Prince is dynamic. Prince is genius. Prince is music.” The BET Awards airs June 27th and will be hosted by Queen Latifah and Kanye West.... pure drama waiting to happen.

Kanye West Returning To Award Shows, Starting With BET...
This just in - Kanye West is returning to the red carpet, lights, cameras, action. BET is going to be the first to allow Kanye West back in the building for their awards show airing on June 27th. According to inside sources, Kanye West will be performing his new single 'Power' for the ceremony, but we care more about Kanye West getting on the mic during someone's acceptance speech. And don't forget, Kanye West will probably be there with his armcandy, Amber Rose. Young ladies beware, if you see Kanye swigging from a brown bottle and walking toward you - DO NOT GIVE HIM THE MIC! LOL!

Jay-Z, Drake Top The BET Awards Nominee List
Uber-MC's Jay-Z and Drake are both on opposite spectrums of their careers. Jay-Z is near the end of his near 15 year reign on the hip hop throne, while Drake is just budding with his first album slated for release in the next few weeks. However, what they both have in common is their critical acclaim and respect from their fellow artists.
