Mark Wahlberg Pulled Over By LAPD While On His Way To Church
Actor Mark Wahlberg (don't ever call him Marky Mark) may be a mean-mugging superstar, but that doesn't scare the LAPD. Mark Wahlberg was pulled over by the LAPD after failing to stop at a stop sign in his Bentley convertible while heading to church. According to popular Hollywood reports, Mark Wahlberg carries his every decision through the Catholic church:
"Mark is a practicing Catholic, and he never makes a final decision on a starring role until Father Flavin gives his OK. Mark says he owes his career to Father Flavin. Father Flavin pushes Mark to honor his religious roots. Even though Mark was offered one of the leads in Brokeback Mountain, he passed because of the gay subject matter, which clashes with Catholic doctrine. On his priest’s advice, Mark also passed on a lead in Ocean’s Eleven, because he thought the role would typecast Mark.”

 Jaleel 'Urkel' White has been cleared of charges in alleged battery case. TMZ has reported "Jaleel White will not be charged with domestic battery of his baby mother, according to law enforcement sources." Bridget Hardy, the baby mother, had accused Jaleel of punching and slapping her.

Teenage Fan Tasered After Running Onto Field At Philadelphia vs. St. Louis Game
A 17 year old fan was tasered, by police last night (May 3), at Citizens Bank Park after running onto the field and eluding police. Apparently the rules have changed when it comes to fans storming the field. Normally, the fan would usually be tackled and taken off the field by security, but now overzealous fans should beware. The fan, wearing a Phillies National League Champion T-shirt, waved a towel as he ran around dodging the security. Dramatically, he fell flat on his face after being tasered from behind by a police officer. The Internal Affairs Bureau of the Philadelphia police will review the incident to determine if the use of force was appropriate. The teen’s name wasn’t given because he is a minor, but he will be charged with criminal trespassing among other offences.

Police Shut Down Usain Bolts Super Party In Jamaica
Jamaican Police shut down a benefit dance promoted and emceed by world champion Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt in rural St Ann parish. The thousands of fans who assembled for the event were forced to leave without seeing Vybz Kartel who was scheduled to headline the event. The dance helped to raise funds to build a community center in Bolt's home town.
Deputy commissioner of Police, Glenmore Hinds says the show was halted after it ran two hours past the legal shutoff time. Under Jamaica s Noise Abatement Act, live events should be halted at 2am.

Shaquille O'Neal May Realize Dreams Of Becoming A Police Officer
Cleveland Cavalier's new center Shaquille O'Neal is already looking to start moonlighting. Shaqattack has applied to become a special deputy in Cleveland, a position he's previously held in Arizona, Virginia and Florida. Shaq'a application is currently in consideration and if approved, he will be able to carry a gun and make arrests but his services will be completely voluntarily. If accepted, Shaq will undergo 36-hours of police training and have to take the Ohio police exam. SMH @ the idea of Shaq with a gun... he can't even shoot free-throws!
