Bobby Brown Sets The Record Straight On Whitney Houston's Drug Use
Bobby Brown has broken his silence on the heavy drug use during his marriage with fallen singer Whitney Houston. For singers Brown was accused of getting Whitney hooked on drugs, “No, that’s not true. I didn’t get high before I met Whitney.” Brown sat down with Matt Lauer on the Today show and added, “No, I– I — I smoked weed, I drank the beer, but no, I wasn’t the one that got Whitney on drugs at all.”
Bobby also revealed he was heartbroken when he heard Houston had used cocaine before her death,
“I was hurt. I was hurt … because, you know, me being off of narcotics for the last seven years — I felt that she was, you know, I didn’t know she was struggling with it still. But at the same time, you know — listen, it’s a hard fight. It’s a hard fight to, you know, maintain sobriety that way.”

Cissy Houston Does Not Want Rihanna For Whitney's Biopic
 Rihanna has expressed interest in playing Whitney Houston in her yet confirmed biopic. During a recent interview Rihanna stated,
“I didn’t get that call yet. That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off. That’s a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job.”

Despite Rihanna's excitement Whitney's mother Cissy Houston isn't a fan.

Whitney Houston's Final Autopsy Report Released
 More details have been released following the death of Whitney Houston. According to the report obtained by TMZ, a “small spoon with a white crystal-like substance in it and a rolled up piece of white paper” in her Beverly Hilton hotel room was found by one of the detectives on the scene.
“Located in the top drawer, in the north side of the counter, were remnants of a white powdery substance, and a portable mirror on a base,” according to the report adding that “a plethora of prescription medication bottles, prescribed to the decedent, multiple blister packs and a loose tablet” was found in the hotel suite Whitney occupied.
The report also depicts a plastic bag ripped open with spilling pills, medication bottles, and an ashtray with full of cigarette butts.
The cause of Whitney's death has devastated her mother who hopes Whitney's fans will remember her for her talent and not her downfall.

Cissy Houston Breaks Silence On Daughter Whitney's Death
 Cissy Houston believes as a mother she did the best she could for her daughter Whitney Houston. For the first time since the February 11th death of her daughter, music icon, Whitney Houston, Cissy spoke for the first time to WWOR's Brenda Blackmon.
"I know I did the best I could … I don't blame myself. I know I did the best I could for everything. My children are my whole life. She was very special to me, very special. She was my only daughter, and a good one."
Cissy who insist Whitney didn't die broke believed the media tore down the image of her daughter,
"The media are awful. People have come from here and there, [and they] don't know what they're talking about. People I haven't seen in 20 years. ... Here they come, [they] think they know everything, but that's not true. But God has his way of taking care of all of it, and I'm glad I know that. They really chopped on her, chopped on her … kept, kept, kept."

Whitney Houston's Aide Admits Removing Items From Hotel Room
 Whitney Houston's aide, Raffles Van Exel, who was spotted leaving the club with her day days before her death admits to removing items from her room before police arrived. Last week the coroner confirmed Whitney had cocaine in her system before her death however the police recovered no illegal drugs in the bathroom.
Van Exel told Dutch Telegraph newspaper 'Someone had to do it.' He also stated that 'The room had to be emptied.'
Van Exel's confession is causing many to believe that he may have been Whitney's drug dealer, not Ray-J.

Ray-J's Attorney Fires Back At Leolah Brown
 Leolah Brown's accusation that Ray-J provide cocaine to Whitney Houston before her death isn't going unchecked. Leolah spoke to Dr. Drew and stated she put two and two together when she saw pictures of Ray J exiting Whitney's hotel.
“I saw Ray J coming out of the hotel, hiding his head, being pushed into a car. Why? I looked and I said, ‘Why is he hiding his face? He’s always trying to show his face around Whitney. Why now? Why are you trying to hide Ray J?’”
“And I put it all together.
Ray's lawyer had this to say,
“Though Leolah Brown was nowhere near the Beverly Hilton hotel on the day Whitney Houston died, CNN [sic] proceeded to broadcast an interview with Ms. Brown in which she falsely claimed that Ray J was at the hotel and contributed to Whitney Houston’s death."
“Even the most minimal inquiry with anyone actually in contact with Whitney would reveal that Leolah Brown had been out of contact with Whitney for more than a year and was nowhere near the scene on the day of her death.”

Bobby Brown's Sister Accuses Ray J Of Causing Whitney's Death
Bobby Brown's sister Leolah Davis flatly accused Ray J of providing cocaine to Whitney Houston before her death. Leolah was a guest on HLN Dr. Drew when she was asked for her take on the Whitney's death being caused by chronic cocaine use.

Ray-J Seeks Counseling Over Whitney Houston's Death
Ray-J is still finding it difficult to cope with the untimely passing of his friend and music icon Whitney Houston. While many believed the odd duo had an intimate relationship Ray-J has maintained that he enjoyed only a long friendship with Whitney who he now misses very much. According to RadarOnline, Brandy is urging her brother to seek counseling. Here's how the source puts it:

Whitney Houston's Sister In Law Defends Bobby Brown To Oprah
 The highly anticipated interview with Bobbi Kristina Brown, Gary Houston and Patricia Houston with Oprah Winfrey will surprise many as Patricia defends Bobby Brown. Whitney's sister in law insisted that Brown has received unfair criticism over the years.
“I can’t say that he introduced drugs to her; I don’t think that’s true," she tells Oprah. Bobby and I had a good relationship. She (Whitney) would say, ‘You’re always trying to protect him.’ I said, ‘No, I’m protecting truth… I can’t do it any other way.’”
Patricia also added, “There was always so much outside interference… It was very hard. Their reality was everyone else’s, and it’s very difficult if you’ve got family members that are demanding certain things from you, then the world demanding certain things from you. In all of that congestion, how can you make it work?”
This will certainly shock more than a few people/fans especially since recent reports that Bobbi Kristina Brown wants a name change.

Last Friday Oprah interviewed Bobbi Kristina, Whitney's brother Gary Houston and her sister-in-law Patricia Houston. According to the press release from the network, "Bobbi Kristina shares personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered."

 Bobbi Kristina Brown is in danger according to Bobby Brown's sister Leolah Brown. Leolah opened up to Access Hollywood with shocking claims about Whitney Houston's death and the people surrounding Bobbi Kristina.
“I am concerned about my niece Bobbi Kristina, yes. Krissy is not safe right now. I want to say to Krissy that it’s very, very, very important that she does not trust anybody at this time. Anybody except her father, her grandmother Cissy and myself. And I mean that.”

 A biopic on the life of the late singer Whitney Houston is not in the works despite previous reports. It was believed that actresses from Brandy, Jordin Sparks, to Vivica A Fox were in the running. Singers Jennifer Hudson and Rihanna were also contenders with the latter reportedly being the front runner. Allegedly Clive Davis was already working on a biopic before Houston's death and hurried the process after her untimely passing. However, a rep told Gossipcop that the news of the biopic is....false.

Whitney Houston's Family 'Disgusted' Over Casket Photo
The National Enquirer posted a photo of Whitney Houston laying a casket on it's front page. Fans shared their outrage and disappointment and as expected the Houston family wasn't very pleased.
"Sources close to the family tell TMZ the family is disgusted the photo was printed and they have no idea how security surrounding the casket was breached. We're told the family could tell from the photo that it was taken from inside the funeral home, but they have no idea who would have snapped the pic. Our sources say Whitney's mother, Cissy, has taken the publication of the photo the hardest."
The funeral home owner Carolyn Whigham has denied any wrongdoing and assures that Cissy Houston does not hold them responsible. The Houston family has opted not to investigate the breach in privacy.

Bobby Brown Shops Tell All After Whitney's Death
 Bobby Brown tell all may hitting the shelves soon. After Brown and the late Whitney Houston divorced in 2007 he shopped around a tell all book a year later. There were no buyers and Brown reportedly signed a confidentiality agreement in the divorce settlement. Now less than two weeks after her untimely death new reports are surfacing that the same tell all is back on the market and Bobby will try to get around the confidentiality agreement.
“Back in 2008, the interest in a book on Whitney Houston wasn’t that great,” a publisher told the Huffington Post. “Whitney had fallen off the radar back then … but now, following her tragic death, the market has changed. Now is the time for a book that details an honest look into the life of Whitney.”
Sources close to the Houston family believe Bobby is only trying to profit from Whitney's fame.
“This is a man who left his ex-wife’s funeral because he didn’t like his seats and went to a paying gig that night. He didn’t get on stage that night because he needed to sing his greatest hits or because Whitney would have wanted him to entertain his fans, he did it to get a paycheck — the same reason he now wants to write a tell-all book.”

Reverend Jesse Jackson Clarifies Bobby Brown Incident
Reverend Jesse Jackson who attended Whitney Houston's funeral offered some insight to CNN and what occurred that caused Bobby Brown to leave the service before it even began.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson, stated Bobby and his entourage of "four or five people" took seats in the front row, but were told that the row was reserved for family only. They were asked to move, Jackson said, but there wasn't room at the invitation-only service to seat them elsewhere.
"That was a very difficult moment for all of us; we wanted him to stay," Jackson said. "It seems they could have accommodated him better than they did."
Al Sharpton who had previously tweeted,
"I am at Whitney's funeral. I spoke with Bobby Brown trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is about Whitney!"
Sharpton changed his tone slightly after the service, perhaps after he checked his twitter feed to find his fans bashing Brown,
"We are out of the service. I don't want anyone distorting Bobby Brown. He has shown love and respect today. Stop hatin'."
"Bobby did nothing but show love and respect for the memory of Whitney and his daughter," he continued, "I spoke to Bobby, he said all he wanted to do was show respect and love."

Bobby Brown Speaks Out Against Treatment At Whitney Houston's Funeral
Bobby Brown left the funeral of his ex-wife Whitney Houston before it began. Reportedly Brown, who has been at odds with the Houston family for years, arrived with 9 people. It's unclear how many were his children but Brown's group was not accommodated at the service held at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey.
Rev Al Sharpton somehow found time to tweet about the incident,
"I am at Whitney's funeral. I spoke with Bobby Brown trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is about Whitney!"
Rev. Jesse Jackson revealed to CNN that Bobbi Kristina Brown and Cissy Houston were unaware of the melee occurring several rows behind.
Here's how Bobby explained the incident,
"My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see m daughter Bobbi Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how."

 Bobbi Kristina Brown is recovering just fine says her father Bobby Brown after the tragic death of her mother Whitney Houston. In a statement released today Brown stated,
“My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better. We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina.
“She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother’s death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. “I ask again that our privacy be respected.”
Last evening Janet Jackson stated Bobbi Kristina needs therapy to help her move on from the tragedy.

Whitney Houston's Family Deny Supporting Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Party
 Clive Davis is under fire now by Chaka Khan and Whitney Houston's family who found it in poor taste for him to host his annual Pre-Grammy gala hours after Houston's death.
An insider revealed to Radar Online,
"The mood in the suite was just that of pure shock. Bobbi Kristina was absolutely inconsolable, she was rocking back and forth on the couch, crying hysterically,” a family insider tells RadarOnline.com. “Clive was already dressed in his tux and most of Whitney's family was already dressed for the party. There wasn't any mention of the party proceeding or being canceled by Clive. He told Whitney's family that they could stay in his suite as long as they needed to, and then after about 45 minutes with them, he left. He said he had to go downstairs and take care of the guests, but the family had no idea that the party was going to proceed. Whitney's aunt, Mary Jones, was absolutely stunned that the party was going ahead, and she was very upset that it hadn't been canceled.”
"Even IF Whitney had given her blessing for the party to continue, even that doesn't make it ok. Her body was lying in a room upstairs, dead, for heaven's sake. It was simply in bad taste, period,” the source says. “The family just feels like it was very insensitive for the party to continue. Yes, guests were on the way to the hotel at the time when they learned the news, but they could have had a prayer in the ballroom, and then Clive could have, and should have, sent everyone home. The food could have been donated to a local homeless shelter.”
Chaka Khan also blasted Clive on Piers Morgan calling it 'insanity'.

Chaka Khan Blast Clive Davis For Party Hours After Houston's Death
Chaka Khan, a longtime friend and collaborator of the late singer Whitney Houston, blasted Clive Davis for not cancelling his annual Pre-Grammy gala. Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55pm PT on Saturday and Clive's party begin just hours later. Clive told the crowd that Whitney would have wanted the party to go on. Sadly her body remained on the fourth floor until just after 11pm which means that the dinner/party was going on while her body was being carried out on a gurney.
“I thought that was complete insanity,” Chaka told CNN's Piers Morgan.
“And knowing Whitney, I don’t think she would have said the show must go on. She’s the kind of woman that would have said ‘Uh uh, stop everything. I’m not going to be there.’”
Prior to the Whitney's death Chaka intended to attend the party however after the tragic news she revealed she couldn't even bear to dress herself.
“I don’t know what could motivate a person to have a party, in a building (where Whitney’s body laid), where the person whose life he (Clive Davis) had influenced so enormously and whose life had been so affected by hers." added Khan.
If you recall, on Sunday night at the Grammys Chaka was named as a performer to join Jennifer Hudson and pay tribute to Whitney but she opted out tweeting this message,
“As I grieve the loss of my friend and ‘little sister,’ I don’t feel it appropriate to perform at this time. Continue to pray for the family.”

Bobby Brown Releases Statement On Bobbi Kristina's Recovery
Bobby Brown has come to the aid of his 18-year old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown after the tragic lost of her mother, Whitney Houston. After Houston's death on Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles, Bobbi Kristina was admitted to the hospital twice. She was treated for "stress and anxiety" while family members added she had a "nervous breakdown."
Bobby Brown who was performing with New Edition in Mississippi on the night of the devastating news flew out the next day to be with his daughter. Brown released a statement on her condition earlier today,
"My daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She has been released and is presently with my family including her siblings. Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her, however we will get through this tragedy as a family."

Ray-J Speaks On Relationship With Whitney Houston And Kim Kardashian
 Ray-J sat with Kevin Frazier of the Insider to push his new book "Death of the Cheating Man: What Every Woman Must Know About Men Who Stray."
In the interview completed before the tragic death of Whitney Houston but after the two were spotted out to dinner, Ray-J revealed they were always just friends. He said she was a family friend and their friendship was often misunderstood because of their age difference.
The interview took a shift when Kevin asked about a woman mentioned in the book as KK. Ray-J insists he didn't want to mention any names despite using the initials KK for Kim Kardashian.
Tell me about the girl in the book. You say she literally hypnotized you with sex, ask Kevin.
"Absolutely. I was hypnotized. Waking up in the morning with toothpaste already on the toothbrush, a warm towel all ready to go to wash your face. Just certain different perks of being with a woman like that could really trap you into an emotional world that's hard to get out of.
What happened - why did that relationship end?
The relationship with KK ended because we just felt like, you know, were friends and honest with each other. But as far as our commitment as a one on one relationship, that just wasn't working. And we honest with ourselves and we were honest with each other and we moved on.
KK hypnotized you with sex, what do you mean?
As far as sex, it was intense. As far as the relationship with KK, it was a roller coaster ride of fun and emotions and infidelity and lies...from both ends. We were the same person, we lived the same life, we lied the same, we cheated the same. We were the same person just in different forms.
At the end of the day, it was a clash.
So she knew you were having sex with other people and you knew you were having sex with other people?

Whitney Houston's Daughter Bobbi Kristina Rushed To The Hospital
 Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown is understandably breaking under the pressure of losing her mother. On Saturday night Bobbi was denied access to see her mother where she passed at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Reportedly Bobbi cursed, shouted and cried at police officers who denied her entry. Earlier today TMZ confirmed Bobbi was rushed to the hospital. It is unknown at the moment why she was hospitalized but CNN confirmed that it was not life threatening.

More Details Emerge In The Shocking Death Of Whitney Houston
As many continue to mourn the untimely passing of the greatest singer of our time, Whitney Houston, more details emerge in her death.
Houston was in Los Angeles to attend the annual Grammy party hosted by her longtime mentor and friends Clive Davis. Whitney arrived at Beverly Hilton Hotel with her hairdresser, stylist and two bodyguards. According to TMZ, Whitney's entourage became concerned when she remained the bathroom for over an hour. Her hairdresser entered the bathroom to find Whitney underwater. One of the bodyguards quickly entered to remove Whitney and begin CPR. Shortly after hotel security was called and then 911. Paramedics were also unsuccessful in reviving Whitney. Preliminary reports state there appeared to be no foul play. Whitney's body remained on the 4th floor where she stayed until the police was able to obtain a search warrant. Which means that Clive Davis grammy party, went on while Whitney's body was carried out on a gurney after 11pm. Sad. Just sad.

Whitney Houston Dead at 48
Whitney Houston dead at 48 years old according to the Associated Press.
Whitney was found unresponsive in her Beverly Hilton hotel room. Paramedics were unable to revive Houston was pronounced dead at 6:55 EST.

Ray-J's Bodyguard Knocks Out Drunk Patron
Ray-J and his bodyguards were leaving a club in Hollywood late Thursday, early Friday morning when several men were standing outside near Ray-J's car. Reportedly when the bodyguards attempted to get one of the men to back away from the car, he replied with 'go f*ck yourself'. To which the bodyguard responded with a punch. Phil, the friend of the first victim tried to jump to his aid but was swiftly knocked out by another bodyguard. "I just woke up on the ground," he told TMZ. Phil allegedly suffered a mild concussion and plans to pursue charges.
The next day Ray-J was spotted out on a date with Whitney Houston.

Whitney Houston Agrees To Additional Rehab
Whitney Houston is hoping to finally battle her demons. Whitney voluntarily entered an out-patient rehab program last month and has completed the program. According to TMZ Whitney has hired a round the clock life coach to win her battle. According to sources near the singer/actress, "She really wants it this time."
Whitney is set to reprise her role in the sequel to the hit "Waiting to Exhale". Let's hope Whitney Houston will meet the challenge and defeat her demons.

Whitney Houston Rejects Rumors Of Emphysema
 Whitney Houston's reps are rejecting rumors of Emphysema. Concern grew over Whitney Houston's well-being when the star voluntarily re-entered rehab last month.
Whitney Houston struggled with a drug addiction for many years and has yet to shake off the disease. Emphysema is a progressive lung disease that will severely deter Whitney Houston's comeback.
Whitney's publicist Kristen Foster rejects the rumors saying they are "completely untrue". Hopefully Whitney Houston can shake off this illness once and for all.

Whitney Houston's Struggle With Drugs Lands Her Back In Rehab
Whitney Houston has voluntarily entered rehab says her representative Kristen Foster. Whitney who has an astonishing career in the music industry has also battled drugs and alcohol in the latter part of her career. Whitney released a comeback album in 2010 and many thought her dark past was behind her.
Whitney's rep tells US magazine,
"Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment. Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process."
Incriminating photographs surfaced several months ago of Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina allegedly doing drugs. Bobby Brown has denied the claims, while Whitney did not comment. No word on how long Whitney Houson will remain in rehab.

The National Enquirer has released damming photos of Bobbi Kristina appearing to snort cocaine.
Bobbi Kristina quickly came to her own defense saying,

Ray J has a way with the ladies, doesn't he? If he's not on a reality show with 12-15 women fighting over him, he's starring in a sextape that launches careers for an entire family *cough* Kardashian *cough*. Now, everytime he goes to dinner with a lady, the rumor mill starts spinning like a blender. Just the other day, after being seen with Whitney Houston - again - Ray J had to head to his Twitter account to clear up the rumors:

Lin Yu Chun Swagger-Jacks Whitney Houston Into A 'Susan Boyle' Record Deal
Taiwanese singer, Lin Yu Chun, and Susan Boyle can now both call the same record company home. Lin Yu Chun, the YouTube sensation who performed a rousing rendition of "I Will Always Love You" on a Taiwanese talent show last month, has signed with Sony Music Entertainment, the company announced Thursday. Lin Yu Chun, 24, will release his debut album in July, and the disc will contain songs in English and Chinese. Sony did not specify whether Lin Yu Chun's cover of Whitney Houston's signature tune will be on the album or under which record label Lin is signed.

Singer Jennifer Hudson paid tribute to her 'American Idol' Whitney Houston at the BET Honors Award show scheduled to air Feb. 1st 2010.
