Meagan Good Marries DeVon Franklin
Meagan Good‘s Spanish-themed wedding to pastor and film executive DeVon Franklin took place yesterday (June 16) in Malibu, California. Meagan and DeVon kept details of their wedding under wraps but a couple pictures have surfaced on Twitter. The Jumping the Broom actress is seen in a gorgeous white lace bodice gown while her husband was full suited in white tuxedo and black bow tie.
More details have since surfaced on the beautiful wedding. According to People, Meagan’s wedding was attended by 400 of their closest friends and family including Tracey Edmonds, Derek Luke, Deion Sanders and Tasha Smith.
The beautiful bride wore a custom R-Mine gown with a purple train and Beverly Hills’s Jaxon the Jeweler jewels.
Meagan said of the wedding dress,
“I didn’t want girly. I wanted handsome. It’s got a bit of a masculine feel to it. I wanted something that felt a tad bit rebellious and out of the ordinary. That felt closer to my personality.”

Meagan Good Reveals Fiance Hasn't Tasted Her Goodies
When Meagan Good said she was taking a vow of celibacy - she was serious. The "Think Like A Man" actress is engaged to producer and minister Devon Franklin and both have taken a vow of celibacy until marriage.
Meagan revealed recently,
“Our wedding night will be the first time we’re actually together,” Good said who will become first lady of the church of Seventh Day Adventists once she ties the knot.
On knowing the Sony film executive, whom she met on the set of “Jumping The Broom”, was the one:
“Because he was willing to be celibate with me for a year. He loves God, more than I love God, so I don’t think there’s anything wrong [with him].”

Meagan Good Talks Making Christian Movies, Her Fiance And God
 On the heels of starring in the number hit movie 'Think Like A Man' actress Meagan Good graces the cover of RollingOut Magazine. The newly engaged Good dishes on working with her fiance and speaking loudly about her faith. Check some excerpts below:
Meagan on her fiance:
You know, I feel like I am happier than I have ever been. A big part of that is finding a partner who shares the same heart for God that I have, who walks down the same road as I, and who wants the same things in life that I do. I’m also happy that I found someone who understands what I do for a living, and wants to use that as a tool to help glorify God. It’s really nice … and I’m so very happy.
On if her projects with her fiance would be more mainstream, or Christian-based:
It will be both. You can’t just make projects for the Christian community, because I think they already have the right idea. They’re going to be OK … We will still make movies for them, but we also have to create projects for those people who need something positive and relatable without being very preachy. The key is to pull them in, and then add a hint of spirituality and God to the overall message without scaring them away.
On what made her become more vocal on her faith:
I don’t think that anything changed with me. I just think that there was a certain point in my career where people really weren’t listening to me because I was just getting started. But over time, as I started to get better and better, people got more interested in what I had to say. But if you go back and listen to interviews that I did in 2000 and 2001, you will see that I was saying a lot of the same things. It’s just a blessing now that people are listening as I try to share the love of God and empower young women. I really have the opportunity to make an impact, so I’m doing my best to make the most of it.

 Meagan Good is engaged! The Jumping the Broom star is engaged to DeVon Franklin who moonlights as a 7th Day Adventist preacher while keeping his day job as an executive at Sony Pictures Entertainment - nice.
Meagan's rep confirmed the news to TMZ. The couple who met on the set of 'Jumping the Broom' which DeVon produced became engaged last month.

Actress Meagan Good has officially announced her vow of celibacy! The Jump the Broom actress revealed she'd been celibate for months now following her break up from Thomas Jones!
Meagan tells S2S Magazine,
"I'm celibate! I met someone special, but you know what? I'm so in love with God right now. I'm focused on being married to God."
"No, the next guy I meet is my husband and I already talked to God about that. I was like, 'Check this out, Lord, I know what you want for me.' And He really wants a man that has completely sold out for Christ for me, who can help me improve and be better than I am."
"I know exactly what He wants for me and I don't know if I have already found it. It's quite possible that I may have, but I am so not in a rush for anything. I am in a rush to focus on Him right now."Hey, it worked for Jessica White. She's happily engaged after months of celibacy. Good for Meagan!

Meagan Good Denies Single Ladies Offer
Meagan Good was hyped as the replacement for Stacey Dash on Single Ladies last week. Good who films The Game in Atlanta would just split her time between set. It was perfect: She's young, gorgeous and oozes sex appeal but this week Good denied the rumor.
Meagan tells Global Grind,
"They haven't contacted me..and if they do I'd only be coming on as recurring, (like I was on The Game)..I'm not ready to be a regular on a show, although I am developing a show myself I might star in."
Meagan apparently has more things lined up in her near future than we know - maybe Nia Long would be interested in taking the role.

Megan Good Talks Finding Happiness In Rolling Out Magazine
 Meagan Good covers the upcoming issue of Rolling Out magazine. In the issue she discusses expanding her viewing audience, finding happiness and being content.
So what were some of the things that you felt you had to explore creatively?
I wanted to look for roles that had nothing to do with me being sexy. And I’ve always wanted to do horror movies. It’s what inspired me as a kid, and when it’s done right, there’s a lot of dramatic acting in it. More than anything, I just wanted to play to a different audience, and do something different that had nothing to do with me playing a love interest or the girl next door. Even now, if I do play a love interest, it’s not your average role. I’m working hard to make her quirky and more interesting.

BET's Terrence J Lands Starring Role In Think Like A Man Film
 BET's Terrence J has landed a starring role in the film adaptation of Steve Harvey's best-seller "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man". The film which is slated for an April 2012 release, follows a group of four friends who feel betrayed after their girlfriends purchase Steve Harvey's book and begin reenacting the advice provided. The band of brothers find out that they have been betrayed by one of their own, they conspire to use the book’s teachings to turn the tables.
Producer Will Packer (Obsessed, Takers) said this of the project:
“Steve Harvey has established himself as one of the funniest and most insightful voices in America. That coupled with an incredible cast makes this an exciting venture.”
The incredible cast also includes Kevin Hart, Meagan Good, Taraji P. Henson, Michael Ely, Gabriel Union and others.

 Actress Meagan Good has high hopes for her acting career. The off and on again actress who's now pursuing a musical career with her a girl group, spoke to Vibe recently about playing Whitney Houston and blogs hating on her repeating the same outfits.
On playing Whitney Houston
I’m kind of coming to the acceptance that [playing Aaliyah] maybe that might not happen. Right now, I’m focused on doing Whitney Houston’s life story. That’s my personal dream role. I grew up with Ray J. I know a lot of people that know her. I think it’s something that can definitely be a realization should I sit down with her and start developing it. Even though I know her story’s definitely not done by any means, I think what she’s already been through and to come out on the other side is a story all in itself.
On The Blogs slamming her for wearing the same clothes all of the time
I don’t really care. If something looks good to me and I spent my money on it I’m going to wear it as many times as I choose to, whether it’s my shoes, my earrings, my jeans. And what they don’t understand, the more they comment on it, the more you make me wear it. Everybody’s different. Kim [Kardashian] loves to dress up, but that’s not me.

The Game' Season 4 Episode 1 a Hit On the Web
 The Game' Season 4 Episode 1 - The much talked about Season 4 premiere of 'The Game' aired on BET last night and it definitely did not disappoint. The Game season 4 episode 1 is titled “Parachutes: Beach Chairs.” The show basically picks up from where they would have left off two years ago.
Here is a recap;
"Derwin and Melanie are now two years married with Melanie being a housewife and a step-mom to Derwin’s son. she has some suspicion that Derwin’s son isn’t really his so she decides to get a DNA test behind his back."
"Tasha Mack dating a much younger guy named Donte. She tries to keep her true feelings for him low but ends up breaking out emotionally when she discovers his ex-girlfriend was Sheree from the show “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”"

Nickelodeon's classic channel Nick At Nite has added Damon Wayans' family sitcom "My Wife and Kids" to it's syndication ranks. The series, features Damon Wayans, Tisha Campbell, Jennifer Freeman, and a short Meagan Good guest stint.

X-Men: First Class - Meagan Good Alleged To Be Cast As Halle Berry's Replacement For Storm?
X-Men: First Class is barely off the ground and rumors of the cast are already leaking to the internet. According to news from comicvine, X-Men: First Class will be released in theaters next June - which means that producers and casting directors have to find the actors to fill those slots quick, fast and in a hurry. With the pool of black actresses to fill the role that Halle Berry plays in the original installments, the pickings are slim. You've got Zoe Saldana and Meagan Good as the only easy fills for that role and Zoe's price is on cloud nine after scoring big in Avatar. Meagan Good is the clear choice for X-Men: First Class. How long do you guys think it'll take before she gets that phone call?
If she does get the role, we are sure some critics are not going to like Megan Good's portrayal of Storm in X-Men: First Class.

I didn't take this twitter rumor of their romance seriously because you never know if it's the real thing. Since the rumor came out 3 days ago, Meagan still has not come out to deny anything said.

“I’ve been recording some stuff here and there—just experimenting, really focusing on getting up to par vocally..I worked with Dream like two months ago,” Meagan said.

One of DW's favorite dimes, Meagan Good, is starring in the up and coming horror thriller Saw V. It doesn't matter if you thought Saw I - IV all had the same plot, this time it's different.
