T.I. Fakes A Drug Addiction To Cop Out Of Jail
T.I. - Atlanta MC, T.I. must really want his way out of prison. Ever since he skated by on his skid bid, where he escaped with a tap on the wrist for having more guns than your average platoon, T.I. has been under heavy media scrutiny. Matters only escalated as T.I. and his wife were caught in L.A. with ecstasy and marijuana in their limo while on their honeymoon. Now that T.I. is behind bars, he's trying any excuse to get the justice system to be lenient. All of a sudden, T.I. is suggesting that he's some sort of addict.

T.I.'s "No Mercy" Album Cover Revealed
T.I. is not trying to let jail bars hold him back. Despite his recent incarceration, T.I.'s new album is due later this year. T.I.'s recent run in with the law sparked speculation that the already delayed "King Uncaged" would be on pause indefinitely. However; T.I. recently announce a name change for his seventh project and now has publicly released the album art to the newly titled "No Mercy."
The artwork for "No Mercy shows T.I. in a totally different mood than the original artwork for "king Uncaged," which is shown below.
T.I. was arrested on September 2nd on drug possession charges. He checked in to an Arkansas prison on November 1st to begin his 11 month prison bid for probation violation.

T.I. Checks Himself Into Prison
T.I. has officially checked into his second home this afternoon, to begin his 11-month bid in an Arkansas prison according to TMZ. T.I. was sentenced to 11 months of prison time after his drug possession arrest in Los Angeles was determined to be a violation of his probation received after a federal gun conviction back in 2009. T.I. will reportedly not receive any special treatment or privileged while serving time in the Arkansas prison. That means he will have to share a community shower with fellow prisoners.

T.I.'s wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle will be hit with Ecstasy charges, according to TMZ. This is after the Los Angeles District Attorney dropped drug charges against T.I. If Tameka "Tiny" Cottle is convicted she may face up to a year in prison. Wow! Both Mom and Dad in jail, not a good look for the kids. More details as they are available.

T.I. Not Charged In Los Angeles Arrest
T.I will not be charged by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office for his September 1 arrest on alleged drug possession. Apparently the Los Angeles DA felt that his punishment for probation violation is good enough to teach the Atlanta rapper a lesson.
According to DA office spokeswoman Jane Robinson, her office rejected the filing of misdemeanor charges in part because the rapper (born Clifford Harris) has already been sentenced to serve prison time for a probation violation in connection with the arrest.
According to the Charge Evaluation Worksheet filed Monday morning (October 25) in Los Angeles, "D [defendant] is the driver of a car stopped for traffic violation. Deputy smells marijuana and searches car and occupants for source of odor. Deputy finds 4 pills of ecstasy in D's pants. Deputies also find marijuana in car and other narcotics in possession of one of the passengers. D is on federal probation in Georgia and has already been sentenced to 10 months [ed. 11 months] in prison for violation stemming from this arrest. Given amount of facts above, case rejected."
A spokesperson for T.I. said he is scheduled to turn himself in to begin his prison sentence next Monday. It was unknown T.I.'s jail time will affect the upcoming release of T.I.'s long-awaited "King Uncaged."

T.I. Gets A Court Date To Try To Stay Out Of Jail
T.I. has less than 2 weeks to learn what his fate will be. The court date to convince the judge why his latest drug charge doesn't violate his probation, has finally been set. T.I. is set to face the judge on October 15th. If the Atlanta rapper is found to have violated his probation he is likely to see significant Jail time. Its still looking like R.I.P to T.I.'s career.

T.I. legal troubles continue to haunt his career. The rapper had to cancel a show at Penn State University because he reportedly cannot leave the state of Georgia due to his and Tiny's recent arrest in L.A. for possession of ecstasy pills. T.I. you are so dumb as said by Antoin Dodson.

 According to TMZ the pills found in the crazy expensive Maybach that rapper T.I. and his wife "Tiny" were riding in Wednesday night were in fact ecstasy pills. Sources say the lab determined the pills were ecstasy after running them through the appropriate tests. T.I. and "Tiny" were busted for felony drug possession after cops pulled them over on the Sunset Strip for making an illegal U-turn. After a search of the car and passengers a controlled substance was found.

Andrew Young Comes To T.I.'s Defense Once Again
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reached out to former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young for his take on the arrest of T.I. and his new wife Tiny. Young says that T.I.’s arrest in Los Angeles for drug possession has bewildered him. He said that T.I. wanted to do the right thing and hinted he may have been stopped because of racial profiling. Andrew Young has counseled the performer on his “road to redemption” after the rapper pleaded guilty to federal drug charges. Andrew Young also officiated T.I’s South Beach wedding in July. T.I. And Tiny Being Arrested Last Night - Pictures Included
TMZ has released photos of Tiny and T.I. being taking into custody after being arrested last night. There were no photos of T.I. but supposedly he was taking into custody along with an unidentified man. It is already beginning to look like Tiny (or the unidentified man) is going to take complete blame for the charge. After all, T.I. has to keep making that money to feed all those kids.
T.I. has just completed serving time for federal gun possession charges is now on probation. This will definitely be considered a violation of T.I.'s probation.

TI and Tiny Busted For Possession In LA
Rapper T.I.'s career is officially over. TMZ is reporting that T.I. and his wife Tameka Cottle were arrested last night and booked for the alleged possession of a controlled substance. Law enforcement sources say that the L.A. County Sheriff's deputies pulled over the rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana, and after searching the vehicle they arrested T.I. and Tameka. Bail was place at $10,000. They have since been released.
T.I., born Clifford Harris Jr., is on probation after doing seven months in prison on federal weapons charges. Unless Tiny takes all the blame for the possession charge, he may be put away for a very long time.

Rumor Mill: T.I. To Be Released To Halfway House Early 2010
Rapper T.I. can't be held by four walls and a prison cell. Word on the streets is that T.I. who is serving a 12 month and a day bid on gun possession charges, will be released to an Atlanta halfway house to serve out the remainder of his sentence after the New Year. Officially, T.I. isn't slated to be released until May 26, 2010, however, due to good behavior and other factors, prison officials are considering releasing him to a halfway home by no later than March 2010. This will be great news for fans of southern hip hop, as many of their favorite artists are either currently in jail or facing lock-up soon; including the likes of Gucci Mane, Lil Boosie and Lil Wayne to name a few.
The only downside is that whoever prints up those 'FREE (Insert Rapper Name Here)' T-shirts will see business downturn. Guess there's a gray cloud for every silver lining....

T.I.'s Office Almost Bombed With Molotov Cocktail
Rapper T.I.'s woes have increased even while being locked up in an Arkansas State prison facility. Last Night, T.I.'s office underwent a Molotov cocktail bomb attempt with police searching for the suspect. Although the investigation is still pending, Grand Hustle manager Jason Geter thinks he knows who the perpertrator may be. Here's what he told one media source about the incident:
“A kid came over there a couple of days ago that acted kind of crazy,” Geter explained. “I wasn’t there, but some kid that was a little off was pretty much asking for somebody to come to his party. He got a little irate when he was in the office. We’re kind of assuming it was him. He made a couple of threats when he was in the office. Two days later, this happens. You can’t help but say, ‘It must have been this idiot.‘ ”

Fresh off an appearance at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, TV star Tameka “Tiny” Cottle recently gave an update of her husband’s current condition and the tragic violence that’s hit her inner circle.
“I talk to him about a little of everything, just things going on. He hears things and we talk about it. He wants me to stay out the way, me being out of harm’s way. I know it’s a lot of crazy things going on so I try to stay in as much as possible because I don’t have him here. So I come out only when it’s necessary. I stay out the way. But he even said it was a terrible situation that AJ had to lose his life like that. Him not knowing the situation and what’s going on he really can’t speak on it. He’s doing good. He’s passing the time by working out and just doing things they do inside, you know,” she stated. “He’s playing handball and things like that. I go see him every Sunday, sometimes on Mondays. We talk everyday. He gets emails, working out and doing things like that so he’s busy in there. He has a full schedule.”

Shawty LO beef with T.i. at Dirty Awards
The dirty awards was forced to a early closing due to altercations during the show. Here are the facts;
Shawty LO called out T.I. about bankhead and asked him, "who do you run to, hope it aint Tamika". When it was T.i.'s turn to hit the stage, he responded with "If you don't like what I am doing, do something better." T.i. proceeded to perform "Ain't I" with Yung LA. His Mic was cut halfway into the song, but T.i. continued performing a capella to emphasize his point. With tension still in the air, the awards show proceeded, a few shouts led to a scuffle and another altercation where police eventually intervened and pepper sprayed the crowd before shutting the event down. T.I. Now Deemed Eligible To Vote
T.I. has been deemed eligible to vote in the upcoming presidential election.
Despite the fact that he is a convicted felon and has previously served time for firearms, drug and assault offenses - since he is not serving probation and hasn't started his prison sentence - T.I. is eligible to vote and did so in Atlanta on Wednesday morning. Good for him, I wonder what kind of deals Tip worked out with the law to pull this off. Watch the video of TIP supporting the police here

Former United Nations ambassador Andrew Young has put together a new TV documentary called "Walking With Guns". The documentary focuses on Atlanta based rapper T.I. as he make amends for federal firearms offenses. The film premiered in Atlanta on Sunday and highlights gun violence.
