Tupac Film To Focus On The Last Day Of His Life
Tupac Shakur will be portrayed in an upcoming film about the life and death of one of Hip Hops greatest lyricists and personalities. Production on the film is set to begin in the fall and filming could begin as early as November.
The details are still scarce but Oscar-nominated screenwriters Stephen J. Rivele and Chris Wilkinson have just been hired to write the film. There is still no word on who will play the role of Tupac in the movie, none of the cast has been decided yet, and it is said that director Antoine Fuqua is not looking to cast a known actor or rapper for the role. The other major detail that has been revealed is that the movie will focus on the last day of Tupac's life. The film will break away from the documentary style of the initial draft written by Steven Bagatourian. Tupac's movie will show the final four years of his life, leading up to his tragic death, as a series of flashbacks to keep the focus on his last day alive.

Since they're going for an unknown actor, our opinions don't really matter unless we know the actor personally.
And how interesting would the name of an unknown actor be to those of us who don't know him?
Whomever does end up playing Tupac must, most importantly, capture his vibe, his passion, and look at least somewhat like him. It's more important he feels and sounds like Pac.
I agree with Priceless it all almost begins or ends with the choice they make for Tupac. Let's hope they make the right choice, and also pair the actor up with a great, edgy script.

i think tat man is right i want someone from the streets to play tupac not someone whos known or big we want an original.
Who ever plays tupac has to fit the way tupac is and has to come off as tupac.I mean they have alot to work on

For the past however long you all have been telling me i look like Pac. Kids hiding around isles, trying to get a good look at me, and leaving with a long face when i tell them Im not him. Grown women taking a double look at me in the back of a bus, and giggle to me saying, "u look just look 2Pac". I dont know. Maybe i do. But ill tell u onething. If i get the part it would be an honor to take on the task of being larger then life its self. I might not be completly ready now, but when u see me, you will belive in ghost's.
