Nicki Minaj Takes Pink Friday Into Platinum Land
Pop star, Nicki Minaj, according to Nielson Soundscan has just been certified platinum after six weeks on the shelf - which, in today's market is almost unheard of. Pink Friday has made the statement that female rappers are a viable option in a male-dominated industry. In a recent interview with MTV, Nicki Minaj beamed:
“A part of me expected it, because I wanted it so bad, but I never saw all of this”.
