Michael Clarke Duncan Out Of ICU, Remains Hospitalized
Actor Michael Clarke Duncan remains hospitalized in Los Angeles more than three weeks after suffering a heart attack, according to the Sacramento Bee.
Duncan’s publicist Joy Fehily said through an emailed press release that the 54-year-old Duncan “was just moved from the intensive care unit, but remains hospitalized.”
“His family are firm believers in the power of prayer and have asked that you keep him in yours during this time,” the statement reads. There has been no further information released on Duncan’s condition following the July 13 heart attack.
Duncan’s life was saved by his girlfriend, television personality Omarosa Stallworth, who reportedly performed CPR on him after she found him in cardiac arrest at his Southern California home.
Stallworth successfully revived the large 6-5 actor after she called for help when she found him at 2 a.m.
Duncan, 54, is best known for his Oscar-nominated role alongside Tom Hanks in The Green Mile. Stallworth, 38, is best known for being a manipulative but clever participant on The Apprentice in 2004. She has been dating Duncan since 2010, when the two met in the produce section at Whole Foods.
