Jay-Z Raps About Blue Ivy's Lavish Lifestyle
When Beyonce showed off her baby bump at the VMAs, the world knew she was carrying one of the world’s most privileged children. Husband Jay-Z confirms this in his new song. In Rick Ross’ “3 Kings,” Jay-Z raps “Y’all should know by now, if you don’t know/Millions on the wall in all my rooms/N–gas couldn’t f–k with my daughter’s room, N–gas couldn’t walk in my daughter’s socks. Banksy bitches, Basquiat!”
This isn’t the first time the rapper and mogul has mentioned his baby girl in his songs. Soon after Blue Ivy was born, he penned and recorded the song “Glory,” which featured a clip of the baby crying. “The most amazing feeling I feel/Words can’t describe the feeling, for real,” he raps in Glory. “Baby, I paint the sky blue/My greatest creation was you, you: Glory.” He also admitted that his wife had a miscarriage prior to conceiving Blue.
